I haven’t been here in over ten years, back when they had massive tasty pizzas. Will have to come back up try pizzas to see if the same.nnWe got hot chips and scallops. Reasonable price, portion was average. Tasted nice, couldn’t taste bad oil. You know when people have clean frying oil when the chips are crisp not discoloured.nCalled to put order and ready in ten mins. All the prices seem very fair.nnThe shop was so clean and organised
Great little takeaway, with great value for money. The fish was crispy, the burger was excellent. Potato scallop was a little chewy but if you add/insert it onto your hamburger can be amazing, thank me later.

The kind of place where the air smells faintly of salt and hope, and the chips have that perfect balance of crunch and comfort.nnYou take one bite and suddenly you’re eight years old again, sitting in the back of your dad’s car with the heater on and a can of Fanta sweating in your hand. The world made sense back then before kale got ideas above its station, and before anyone thought aioli should come near a chip.nnAt Palmerston Takeaway, they don’t mess about with truffle oil or deconstructed nonsense. Just honest-to-goodness fish, fried by someone who knows the exact second before perfection. It’s not just dinner, it’s a time machine, wrapped in paper, sealed with a bit of salt, and a whole lot of heart.

Exactly what you expect for an old school style takeaway with the prices to match , pictured is a chicken schnitzel burger which was great, large portion and cheapnnOrdered with chips and asked for chicken salt although the amount used could be improved, chips slightly undercooked, not crispynnAll in all, decent local takeaway with everything you could expect
I’ve gone back two days in a row to get their dim sum. I’ve yet to try other items, but their prices are very reasonable and are nice people. Store is clean. Look forward to trying more of their items.
