My daughter had an excellent educational experience here, we were blessed with a super competent and passionate teacher Kat she loved every day of her two years there. I can’t say enough positive things about this school, strong leadership team, a good balanced array of opportunities available to cater for just about any child’s strengths and preferences. PINNS is an excellent school on all fronts.
I went to this school. Although it did little to nothing to help me prepare for highschool, and revolving everything around badges and keys, this was one of the point in my life I will never forget. I was blessed with an awesome class with the best teacher I can ask for, Mr Hoffink. Although he did make me cry a little because he was joking about my glasses, he was a very supportive and helpful teacher, who was not seen that nicely by my peers but he was a great and fun teacher regardless. Besides my teacher, in PNINS we mainly just daze around our computer and do tasks. PNINS would have felt like a side quest to a game after you experience high school. I am now a proud student in PNBHS. Every boy in my class went to pnbhs, and that was very lucky, I never knew high school would be this much different from pnins. If your attending PNINS, you have to be nice to your teachers and your classmates if you want to live the 2 years there. And I am going to tell you this, high school is under exaggerated. It is on a completely different league. I hope you guys have a great time in PNINS and MAKE SURE TO MAKE FRIENDS THERE. getting friends in high school is hard!
Did not like this school at all. They say they stop bullying and but they don't one of my friend got hammerd and the staff didn't care
this school is an absolute disaster. i must admit some people there are nice but overall i absolutely hated my experience there. i didn’t learn anything in the time i was there and if your not talented or sporty you basically just sit in a classroom all day doing nothing.
Absolutely horrendous school. Went there for 2 years, I would know. They throw the student's bags outside if they are not even zipped up, even if it was raining. One time this happened and a kid's macbook that was in is bag got ruined because of it. Nothing happened to the teacher or school. They have all these 'keys' that represent the main values of the school, and yet they contradict themselves by acting like this. There were several fist fights while I was there, as well as a lot of vaping in the bathrooms, and it is a very toxic environment in general. 0/10, horrible school, do not recommend.
Where I found my first BFF. It's also where I first joined school activities, they encourage students to participate in schoolwide activities by giving them blue badges. They've got a huge field as well. My team is the most isolated one, I usually play handball with my friend or just read during lunchtime. A great school in conclusion.
Absolutely hated it here I got shoved in an unzipped bag in the tangaroa corridor then got chucked outside by mr badger. Also, Mr sanson scrunched me up and used me as a tennis ball during PE. Do NOT go here.
Really a fantastic school, before my son study in Carncot a private school, school bully and the principal not capable to deal with so I shift my son to this school, the art teacher is such a passionate teacher .she spend a lot of money to buy the real animal body in order to show the student to vivid pictures, she teach the students who already graduated from Pnins but was interested in drawing for free. Also the class teacher is serious in class but after class she play with them like sister. I strongly recommend this school to international student. Much much nicer than in Private school like Carncot spend a huge money but terrible memory.
It is a good school, but unless you're very talented in sport or the performing arts they don't want to hear from you.
AMAZING SCHOOL! There is so much opportunities there and every second of it was just the best. Great School to be at!
