Not a big fan of pastries but this one i must say it’s just way too good. Love the strawberry flavor. Chicken and cheese is good too. So many varieties, will definitely try again.
Bought a box of 4 today to try out banana and matcha flavors. Was super excited to try out as I have always loved Pafu and the puff looked so tasty and appealing. However, super disappointed with the flavor of the puffs. They all were super oily. You can clearly feel and see the oil in the puff and in your hand. Significantly different compared to my previous trial in QV store. Will not buy from here again.
not recommend .... if you didn't know, there was an original Chinese version of this coffee bun in china, which they had butter cream filled in. This PAFU place def got the budget version while trying to make it still look the same on the surface. For $4.9/each and the void inside.... it is not worth it, don't even bother to come in my opinions... there's a similar version of coffee bread in breadtop QV and taste ten times better....
Must try when at QV! Best to eat it on the spot than having to pack for later... Its puff is light & crispy, filling not that sweet to my liking. *cld have more apple than cream though.....
My first experience with Japanese-style pastry at Melbourne Central, and I must say it’s just way too good. I tried a coffee bun which was so soft and delicious! They have a wide variety of flavors to select from, and they all are baked fresh and warm.
Pistachio matcha pafu was light, flaky and the creme was warm, and we'llatcha flavoured. Unable to taste much pistachio, but it was pleasant.
POOR QUALITY I’ve been taking the Coffe Pan/ Coconut Pan at this place since 1.5 year. But lately the quality is not the same, the pan are over cooked or better cook too quickly, the pan is smaller than what it is suppose to be like it didn’t get the time to rise and inside is sometimes raw and sometimes dryover cooked, the cream on top is burned and the texture is awful. So sad coz my last review was 5 stars and many many compliments especially because the quantity was always “while stocks last”, now it’s always plenty of them but the quality is not the same. P.S. if you check out the review from 6 months ago, unfortunately you can tell from the picture the quality was totally different!
Korean Puff pastries …. Super yummy! Assorted fruit & nutty flavours with cream and warm pastry! Love it with a coffee!
Apple puff was pretty good as the staff recommended :
This time we tried the coffee pan which is nice with strong coffee flavor but the filling is not as expected
