We thought Paediatrician Dr Imali was excellent. Highly recommend. She addressed our concerns quickly and the whole process was made easy by her and the support team. She is also very good with our little boy. This was a positive experience and I felt listened to, which was very important.

Doctors dismissed my concerns for 3 years. After paying another professional to assess my son and get a diagnosis the doctor still dismissed the assessment. He spends 5 min a year with my son and still thinks he knows more about him than me and the other professional who actually got involved and got to know my son. Hated the service since the first appointment. Waste of money. I still can believe this kind of professionals exists and are allow to take care of kids. So disappointed.

Don't waste your money.nHad my 1st appointment with Dr Imali and what an experience that was.. I can not believe how rude and inconsiderate she is. Walked in looking forward to finally getting what is needed to walking out in tears and I literally walked out..nNo compassion or even a smile, the panel of receptionist was even spoken to rudely by her, to the point when they called me after my appointment to offer me a refund I actually apologised for the way they were spoken to from her..nI am so dumb fonded how someone can be entirely so rude when they work in the sector they do...

I first visited Paeds in a Pod 7 years ago and returned to their Ashgrove clinic. The clinic has ample parking and is easy to navigate. We met Dr Imali Yapa and her excellent  clinical experience and expertise of child health is evident in not only  her approach to engaging with children but the way she observes the child’s behaviour even prior to entering her rooms.nnDr Imali’s honesty and real world application is rare and greatly appreciated and I wouldn't hesitate to refer her onto family and friends.nnI have read a few of the reviews which are surprising. The fees and costs are outlined up front and before you arrive. If the costings don’t meet your budget, go elsewhere.nnWe rely on experts to give us facts and in the best interest of our children - not to tell us what we want to hear or to “ fix problems “ immediately.nnDon’t seek professional help, be unhappy with what you are told, or referred onto and then leave a bad review. It’s not fair for parents who are genuinely needing support, understand the role of a paed and allied health teams.nnAt the very least - if you are a parent looking for a paed  and haven’t yet visited Paeds in a Pod  read all of the bios of each of the specialists and then base your decision on merit and expertise.

We including my 7 year old have always had good experiences dealing with the office staff and Dr Imali. She has built a strong connection with my son and continues to make a difference for him and our family. Thank you team.
