Unfortunately our consignment was damaged in transit, but Amy at Outback Equipment could not have been more helpful in arranging return of the damaged item and shipment of a replacement. The true measure of customer service is how a company responds when things go wrong and Outback could not have handled our issue any better!
I bought a midi fuse holder with busbar to suit for a dual battery setup I am building. After a week of no updates on my order I messaged the support team to get updates. I found out that the items weren’t in stock like the website insinuated and I was going to be waiting just shy of another 2 weeks for my items. I replied asking why their website didn’t make this obvious before purchasing, and why there was no communication on the extended wait times from the advertised 1-3 days and received no response from them. After waiting for my items to arrive I found that busbar and midi fuse holders that were sold to suit each other did not fit correctly as the drilled holes did not line up with the studs and therefore couldn’t sit flat on the midi fuse holders and couldn’t be used together as shown on their website. I yet again reached out to support only to be met with very little help other than to foot the expense of shipping it back for a store credit or exchange, which would cost me more time than I have to spare now after a month of waiting. Outback Equipment aren’t interested in helping correct the issue and usually take days to respond to messages, and despite both items being Enerdrive branded and pictured fitting each other on their website, they’re calling it an incorrect purchase from myself. I have now purchased the fuse busbars elsewhere and regret not reading similar reviews online before committing to purchasing from them.
Recently bought and installed the insect mesh product from Outback Equipment on my new Ranger Sport. Quick postage, great fit and looks awesome. No more hassle with cleaning bugs out of radiator and inter cooler anymore.
Purchased a tuff terrain hard shell awning. Was a great awning but the legs locking mechanism had slight locking issues. Emailed the team about a solution on it and Joel was more than helpful on the situation and currently sorting out a replacement. Very efficient warranty process. Would recommend these guys
Items bought in from other suppliers which makes their handling time ridiculous, therefore shipping is delayed and takes ages to get your items. Then to receive a second hand item, waited over a week since refund was meant to be issued and when calling to find out where my refund is I was told to wait a few more days??? Jordan the customer service representative has extremely poor manner and customer service skills. Incredibly disappointed, not the first time I’ve had issues with this mob and won’t be going back again.
