I'm a regular at the gym, and the staff and people who go there are amazing! Great variety of group classes that are included in the membership!nI really enjoy all of them, and each staff member ensures we work hard , but also having fun.nI love my PT sessions with Manon, she is super attentive and knows her stuff. She designed the program specifically for my needs and does amazing job with my progress.nThe gym facility itself is quite outdated, and it would be great to upgrade the equipment, which seems like from a century ago.nThe pools require more cleaning, and hygiene rules enforced. In particular, lots of hair and rubbish in both water and changing rooms. Ideally, enforcement of basic rules like, taking a shower before going into the pool, especially after the sauna, wear a hat if you have long hair...etc.nBut, overall, amazing community and super welcoming!
Quite lucky to have a gym and pool facility like this nearby! The gym’s great overall and the classes offered are genuinely really good — especially Manon’s SPIN classes, which has been fantastic and a real motivation!nnThe gym equipment is decent, although some of it could definitely use a bit of maintenance or upgrading as quite dated. On the plus side, the staff are always super helpful and friendly, and fellow members have become good friends!nnLove the sauna, which got upgraded last year so real bang for buck! The pool and sauna areas are typically very clean, especially in the mornings.nnStoked to have something like this so close to me!
Otahuhu pool & Leisure Center is an amazing place to work out, relax, and recover. The gym is clean, well-kept, and has a really friendly, comfortable atmosphere. The personal trainers and staff are always helpful, welcoming, and supportive.nI love that there are so many options, whether you want to train in the gym, join a class, use the sauna for recovery, or enjoy the spa to relax. Overall, it’s a clean, positive, and comfortable place with amazing staff. Highly recommend!
A grassroots gym. No posing for “the gram” etc. Just real people, doing real work - for themselves. With good trainers. It’s fun and feels like family. The sauna and pool are a bonus - great for recovery. The classes are good too!
All my children loved it and they range from 21 to 2. There is a spa and sauna that cost less then $5 per person other wise everything else is free. There is a diving/bombing pool that the older ones loved, to a baby pool with a slide and fun water play fountains everything is safe as there are lots of lifeguards making sure everyone is safe. Was very clean and tidy. Also has family changing rooms so makes it easier for a family with small children. And the water isnt too cold. Overall it is a great place to go for a swim.
