Ossie Indoor Beach Volleyball offers a fresh take on beach volleyball where the ball is kept in play at all times with nets. Great for exercise and fun!!

Story

Ossie Indoor Beach Volleyball is open 4 nights a week for social competitions.

The centre has about 300 teams playing throughout the year and caters for different skill levels.

The format for each night is similar, with 6 time frames of 45 minute games. The first time frame starts at 6:00 pm and the last at 9:45 pm.

Each game consists of 3 x 14 minute sets. Subs are permitted in each competition, with exchange to occur between sets.

This game is unique and takes a bit of getting used to, even if you’ve played conventional volleyball.
The counter staff can assist with information on how to play the game and practical assistance if you wish it. Please feel free to ask.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place due to my own experience. We were forced to forfeit our Semi-Final Game after winning 3v6 due to not having 2 girls on our team as one of them had caught covid the days prior. Upon complaining about the way this was handled. the response I got was you are not welcome to return unless you apologise. Did not return as requested feeling bullied.

What a beach volleyball place. Now its definitely outstanding but it's indoors so don't let the beach sand or the quality of the people make you think otherwise. One thing I will say is the diversity in the umpires, from American Karen's roasting everyone's volleyball ability to aussie dads struggling with family issues being cheered up by our shinanigans there's an umpire here for everyone. Also if you're a bit hungry theres endless treasure hidden amongst the sand and I mean endless. Last week's oatmeal to toenails and hairs, one mans trash is another's treasure thats all I know. I've gotta comment on the smell as well coz it hits like a truck the moment u walk in. You'd think it's the back and pit sweat of Bob the owner of the place as he struts around in his tank top from the 80s,he definitely was an early 90s rave dancer if Ive seen them and that's what I love the most, 5 stars
Awesome atmosphere and relaxed time of volleyball fun at Friday and Saturday night drop in, great for all skill levels
My girlfriend and I played here for a few seasons and were disappointed with the rules. Firstly, the rule that there had to be an even amount, or more girls than boys, not vise versa, suggesting it would be unfair to have more boys than girls, but not the other way around? Second that the players had to be arranged alternating male and female. Disappointed that this kind of stuff still goes on today.
Fun for everyone. You can start a team and play at your own level. Nets so no ball chasing. Great music and friendly vibe. You can even bring your own snacks and low alcohol beer for after the game.
Great centre. Probably the best quality and quantity of courts in the Perth metro area with 8 in total. Really friendly staff who are willing to put the effort in to ensure you enjoy yourself and feel welcome. Then the Saturday night social vball is a great way to keep out of trouble!
I have only been on Saturday's, but very friendly. Plenty of teams to join for solo players. Goes from 17:00 till the last person leave 00:00 midnight.
