We went to oriental palace couple weeks ago and had the best time ! We had dimsims , spring rolls and soup as entrees then mains were fried rice, chef special duck and chef special seafood bird nest. Took the rest home. Too delicious to not finish it !! We were very full and happy. Best Malaysian Chinese restaurant I've been to in Hervey Bay. Reminds me of my childhood restaurants in Indonesia. Authentic! Always booked out and a lot of people lining up for takeaways.

Amazing food and promptly served our dishes despite the place being packed. This easily rates as the best tasting Chinese Food in The Bay!

Ordered take away from here and all the food tasted fantastic, the honey chicken was delicious. Good service however it was difficult to get through on the telephone.Food: 5/5

Had a lovely shared meal. All very tasty. Last be ur Spring Rolls. So lovely they prepared a special fried ice-cream dish. Thanx so much, made my night!

The staff were friendly and accomodating, as I we wanted a 4seat table for 2 people. The food was fantastic , do yourself a favour and get the Honey chicken. The prawn toast and dim sims were awesome too. The prices are good and inline with the tourist area you’re in. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Hervey Bay again.

I ordered the chicken garlic cashew sizzling plate, it was so tasty my taste buds were going crazy , my cousins had honey chicken and omelette which they loved the service was awesome thanks for putting up with our antics, blonde lady, great atmosphere as well,I'll be back :

Great service smiles and attitudes from staff. The food was delicious, fresh, great meat and vegetables ratio + variety and plentiful servings.Thank you for a great enjoyable meal.

Saw this restaurant on SBS food. Ordered pick up, #70 and the boneless crispy duck. There was a mix up and was given the duck and mushroom instead. The #70 was average not much meat in it. But the duck and mushroom was a disappointment. For $23 it was mean serving size, the duck was tough and the flavor was bland. We talked to another couple who also had eaten there recently and they too found the quality of the food had gone down. So maybe they have a new cook? Something has changed in the kitchen and the normally great food is not so great now. Will not go back.

Stopped off here for a takeaway, after a whale watching adventure. Great quick service, food still hot when we got home, and tasted fantastic. We'll be back! We've tried a few similar restaurants in the bay, but this was the best.

They had fantastic communication over the phone and so lovely in person! Food was absolutely delicious!!! The free prawn crackers and soft drinks was such a treat! Lovely surprise! Thank you so much :
