It’s Oporto so the food is bound to be good either way. But when we were here, we wanted to get some chips with our meal, & they tried to charge us $6 for a separate side of chips! They didn’t even offer to add it as a meal deal with the burger. You can get a large chips at Oporto for $1 so $6 is ridiculous.
Good Australian burger chain. Liked the atmosphere and food they serve. Would be better if asked for take away or dining which they suppose to do.
The food's taste was just fine and I could barley find the chicken on it. It was all lettuce. I paid 11 dollars and around the corner there is The Hub which gives you a triple bigger size burger for 8 dollars.
I only eat Oporto when there is an offer. Eg. But one chicken get one free... $1 chips. Else, it is not worth the spend.
A typical Oporto, but conveniently located for a nice evening snack after uni.
Nice food. Recommend Bondi burger.
If you're driving/getting delivery, go for Oporto Newtown. Very, very meh.
