This is what Melbourne does best. A blend of culinary flavors. And this dish from One Fine Day @ Beaconsfield has exemplified that. The cumin and beetroot fritters is packed with flavors that reminds of my the days I spent in India sampling roadside snacks. Smothered with yogurt and served on a bed of grains and barley. Somewhere buried under the coat of yogurt lies two perfectly poached eggs. Absolutely yum. Coffee is a little inconsistent but don't let that deter you from dining here. You'll be surprised at that size of the small kitchen that churns out amazing food! The outdoor dining area has a nice ambience with overhead heater for cooler days.

A ridiculously small cafe that adds to the charm of the place. Excellent food and hot drinks. A little gem.
