Highly recommend Gio's. I've ordered takeaway a couple of times and the food has always been very delicious. I'm not a massive pizza eater so I'm always happy when they've got other options too such as antipasti, pasta etc. Once I had an issue with my order and Jonathan was super helpful and gave me a voucher to order again. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend their pizzas and the Truffle Mac&Cheese!
Absolutely inedible. Waited 45 minutes for the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Manager was rude and unhelpful says it’s deliveroo’s fault and refused to compensate in any way - my family doesn’t have dinner now thanks! Save yourself the $$ and go to dominos same quality
When we got there, it was closing. As we walked out, they ran after us and gave us a pizza for free. We returned there a few weeks later and ate a gluten free Margherita. Very friendly, good service and good pizzas.
I walked in at 9.00pm, was greeted by cheerful staff while I checked out the menu. At 9.02pm I ordered and by 9.07pm I walked out with fresh made piping hot pizza which is delicious. I recommend!
Irresponsible restaurant, if you are closed, you must turn off your Uber eats service, so people wouldn’t order and see the tracking and after 2 hours , receive a message from the driver saying that the restaurant is closed!!! I had 10 guests and was embarrassing situation after 2 hours when other options are closed by that time. Will share that with locals so they know who not to support !!!
Pizzas themselves were pretty good. Service was extremely slow. Not sure if it was an one-off. We showed up half an hour after ordering and had to wait an additional half hour when we got there.
1st time ordering Pizzas from here, we ordered 3 Pizzas and a pasta. Only 2 Pizzas showed up, driver couldn’t explain it, we were left with trying to fix it online. Now have to wait 7 days to get a refund. The other 2 Pizzas were mostly burnt on the bottom. I have attached the images. Wouldn’t order from here again.
Definitely our favourite pizza place at the moment, and we have tried a lot. We have been to the coogee store and waterloo store, but mostly just get delivery. Never had a bad pizza, always amazing. A great variety of pizzas without being to weird. Staff are also lovely. My only negative is $12 for a tiny slice of cheesecake is just tooo expensive.
Really really great pizza I always feel like the best way to compare pizza places is by getting a margarita. If they do that well, then everything else will be great! Well, Johnny Gios passed that test with flying colours. The pizza was delicious, and even travelled well after getting it takeaway. I love how the pieces held their structure as you lifted them up. Really like a New York slice. Can’t wait to go back for my next!
Pizza had burnt edges and not cooked enough in the middle, seemed like the oven was too hot. The truffle parmesan fries were a massive disappointment, felt like they took old fries. When you pay $11 for them, you would expect they are freshly cooked. Lady at the front was very nice, however kitchen staff were rude to her.
