I took my parents here for lunch on Monday. We were all very impressed with this place. The food was delicious and the service of the waitresses was exceptional. Thanks to Tuulah, Sam and Mel for being so welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for a great meal out.
A++ Great ambiance with a neatly presented, fresh fitout. The mood lighting is good and enough spaces between tables allows for meaningful conversation. Food The Wagyu burger is a generous serving. The meat patty was proper, no rubbery hard bits. Fresh lettuce, and soft buns. I recommend the Veal Parmigiana. Very tasty! Dessert I recommend the sticky date pudding with cream. Coffee The caffe latte is robust in flavour. The staff are friendly and well presented. I consider this place a great find. It's not a place you stumble into but more a place you stumble upon.
Generally very good however meal was cold and it took so long to get a drink we were ready to go home. Only offered a free coffee, who knows how long that would have taken. Probably won’t go back for a while now.
Food was reasonably good. I've had better meals at the OT previously. The service is friendly just a little bit slow to get out drinks orders
Shared the parmi and squid. Parmi wasn't great, probably 2 stars, squid was 5 stars. Chips and salad were standard but the chips were cold and the gravy was watery. Service was slow as well. Other people weren't exactly raving about their meals either which were sliders and pasta but the fish and chips were good.
Hubby and I came on a public holiday didn’t book as it was a last minute kid free evening, still able to get a table after a few minutes of waiting which was great, unfortunately my Steak was way over cooked and cold as were the chips, kitchen had closed after our order so no point in even asking for anything staff made they comment they couldn’t find where we were sitting, which was odd coz we just told the waitress inside was too cold for us so we asked to sit outside if aloud. Hubbys Parma was fine. Baileys ice-cream and coffee was amazing
If you want to try a really good, traditional Caesar salad come to this little gem of a pub, there's not many places in Melbourne that gets this salad right but The Olive Tree is the exception to the rule!
Enjoyed a very nice lunch here today, served very hot by friendly staff. Comfortably cool on a very hot day. My pleasure to recommend.
The food was awesome, and place that has more than one type of Parma will see me again. Food was faster then I thought it would be, was very happy with it all round, hope they do ufc events, so I have a reason to come by more often
Food was amazing! Hot, flavourful and delicious. Waiters were also really nice, and had great big smiles and provided us with great service. Came here for the first time and loved it. Will hopefully be back soon
