I walked into Officeworks in 2026 expecting to print a document wirelessly — a completely normal expectation in the modern world. Instead, I discovered that wireless document printing is apparently a radical, futuristic concept here.nnNo wireless upload.nNo AirDrop.nNo cloud access.nnThe only acceptable method? A USB stick. Yes — for a simple document attachment. I half-expected someone to ask if I could also bring it on a floppy disk for safety.nnI left without printing anything, slightly stunned. If you enjoy unnecessary steps and technology frozen in time, this place might work for you.nIf you were hoping for basic modern convenience — don’t bother.
I'm old and so is my printer. I went to the Hornsby branch to buy a new toner cartridge. A new printer was only $50 more. Since my old one was working OK and I don't use it much, I just paid for a new toner cartridge. Unfortunately when I installed it, the pages were covered in marks. I tried all the cleaning procedures but nothing fixed it.nSo I took the old printer back to Hornsby to see if they could fix it.nEven though I didn't have the receipt, the young fellow there said it was probably the drum and since it was an old printer, better I paid $50 more for a new one which included toner. Without hesitation, he accepted the old cartridge back even though it had been unwrapped and supplied the new printer which works perfectly.nThank you Officeworks.
I just went in to get some name cards made for my wedding and was served by Dani. Can I just say how wonderful, helpful and patient she was? Not only was she patient she truly went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I needed AND she looks like she loves her job. In a place like officeworks that seems to bring the most frustrated of customers she is a shining light, promote that girl and never let her go.
Very rude staff here - I had a trolley and the aisles had boxes everywhere they were restocking or organising multiple staff were RIGHT NEXT TO of me they were the managers too I kept running into the boxes and no one came to help at all - just ignored me and were talking to each other, I had to move it all myself and get the boxes free from the walking aisle.nnI hit another box on the way and still no help. Ridiculously rude made the shopping experience horrible.nnI also heard another customer wanting help on an item & the worked had a very condescending voice.
Great customer service provided by Manager Josh. My order was delayed and he was able to rectify the issue and provide me with solutions. I didn’t get the originally ordered item but he was able to provide me with an alternate from stock.nGreat job team.
