For the most part great and satisfactory, but one team member working in printing was incredibly rude when asked for help. She paused for a period of time whilst glaring and then audibly sighed. Overall good store, just a very poor experience this time.
Genuinely one of the worse shopping experiences ive had for all of 2022. Took over half an hr just to get my photos to connect to their computers because of the instore connection, and when it finally connected no receipt came out so i had to get staff help. Then once i had a receipt and was trying to print my photos, the self serve printer broke down after 5 photos and the only solutions staff had for me was reconnecting to their printers which would take at least 15-20 minutes to print, or to reorder and pay a second time for the same photos. I ended up waiting for over 35 more minutes for these pictures, only to collect them and be given doubles of my first half of images ordered and the second half to have not been printed at all. I was in the store for 1.5hrs, left with only half the pictures i wanted and genuinely hope i never have to shop at officeworks again.
If you're going in to print photos - don't waste your time. The self service kiosks don't work and the staff will simply tell you there isn't anything they can do except for click and collect which should only take "10 minutes". I took their advice and ordered through click and collect, waited 10, then 20 minutes, decided ill go and get some lunch and come back. Came back and the order STILL hadn't been printed 1.5 hours after my order.I left, exasperated. Only to get a notification 4 HOURS LATER that my ONE photo was ready to collect and by that time I was already on my way out of the city. Please officeworks, do SOMETHING to improve those self service kiosks, they don't work and run on ancient technology. It's time to join the 21st century. 3 stars because apart from the photos the store has awesome stationary supplies
If you’re looking to print anything slightly special, save your cash and go somewhere else. The staff at this Officeworks aren’t experienced in anything beyond a “basic print job”. The manager on duty today also had terrible customer experience skills, lack of empathy and customer care.
One of the rudest store managers I have ever talked to. One of the staff member misguided me and I talked to the manager but instead of sorting the things out she blamed the issue on me. Keeping her as a manager is the only thing making the store standard down. The manager even mentally pressured me to take the blame on myslef. I want to talk to your customer service asap.
Completely unacceptable service. Bought an item for click and collect online and the asian lady that worked there with the blonde dyed hair did a bait and switch to a lower end model without any notice. Needless to say I left the store in disgust and will never come back.
i would like to extend a different retelling of alan shen’s review, since i was present on the day of the alleged bait and switch; the blonde asian girl was nothing but pleasant. it was in fact alan and an accomplice of his BERATING this poor girl, to the point of being in TEARS. i extend the following question to you; 1. what would she have gained from a bait and switch? SHE isnt getting money from it. 2. have you worked retail/click and collects? if you worked retail for a single day, you would know that any developed CnC especially wesfarmers ones do not allow for “bait and switch” scenarios and you have to scan a BARCODE to get the product. 3. were you listening when she was trying to explain what was the situation? no! you and your little accomplice were SCREAMING in her face like 6 year old children, saying “youre not f-ing listening to me!!!1!” in fact, if anything, she was absolutely pleasant and helped me with stock. i asked about graphite sticks for an upcoming class, and while OW doesnt stock the artist grade ones i was looking for, she provided some wonderful alternatives! 10/10, she deserves a pin.
Polite staff but clearly completely disorganised. I had to wait 15min to get a click and collect document print at 7am on a Thursday. A bit ridiculous. I could print it myself in that time
It’s a worst place I’ve ever been to. It took me 40 mins to ask staffs how to print the passport photo. When the machine wasn’t printed out cause it can’t read my file. A male staff told me to ask for help from printing team and a female staff refuse to help that she wants me to line up again. It’s totally wasting my time. Never come back.
The stores hired two new Asian looking girls recently who operate by their own ways. No manners. Don’t know where the product was when I asked for an easel. They will not show one to display and said if I open the box to check the easel will be classified as theft? Seriously?
