Can get pretty busy. Your best ringing ahead. Ask and ye shall receive. I like my batter crispy. Friendly staff. Your order comes packaged to perfection  I drooled last time over my Pineapple Fritter. Mouth Watering.

We were in the area during new year holidays and looking for decent fish and chip. Decided for this after some google search.nnThe shop itself is small and was very busy when we were there but it was moving fairly quickly.nnIt was a bit of wait but not too bad. And the meal was good so we thought we made a good choice!nn we were queueing outdoor, considering it was still COVID time Jan 2022 that was a plusnthe seating area at the yard, open air great for summer

I don't know what is up with all the negative feedback, but my personal experience is wow! The fish is fresh, as in caught today & served today! The batter is soft, and not too crispy. Fish is filleted to perfection, NO blood through the flesh that leaves it with horrible brown streaks & horrible ammonia taste, Yours are perfect white flesh fillets guys!!nnYour chips had some bad ratings, so I decided to order minimal chips.nAnd again they were fantastic chips! They were soft inside which means cooked spot on, and not too crispy outside, I love the golden colour too, chips were perfect guys! Yep I thought $10 was pricey for a piece of flake, but the end result was worth it.nnFor my fish & chips order today, AAA+++ and they were done in 15mins, like they said over the phone. Service also spot on! I seen you guys working super hard in that shop, so I take my hat off to you all. Keep up the great food & service!nnDo I recommend your fish n chipsnnHELL YES!nnWhen it comes to good food, I will always leave good feedback, and vice versa with bad food & service.

Where did my review go? I've been asked again to review... The wait was long, the grilled Whiting had so many scales and bones it was ridiculous. If you like fun with your fish and chips you'll like it. Potato cakes/ potato scallops were so over cooked I was unable to eat mine. The chips were very small, like the end of the bag, the ones that I would classify as chips were fluffy and lovely. I'll be trying another shop next time. We get fish and chips maybe 3 times a year and we were very disappointed.
