Just enjoyed an amazing lunch at Ocean View Fish and Chips today—hands down the BEST fish and chips in Ocean Grove, and honestly, the best we’ve had in ages! The prices are super reasonable, and the location is perfect—a sunny corner spot with a front lawn where you can relax and enjoy your meal.nnIt was super convenient for us with two busy little kids. The fish pack is fantastic value, and we also tried the Lamb Souvlaki and nuggets for the kids—everything was delicious. Don’t skip the chicken salt on your chips; it’s a must!nnThis spot is the perfect post-beach lunch stop, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
Delicious and perfectly fried fish and chips! Ordered flake, potato cakes, dim sims and minimum chips, all fresh and not too heavy, which was great. Seems like due to the tourism season upon us the shop is training some new staff, so please be mindful that kindness and being polite to young people working in a new workplace and getting the hang of things takes off the stress a bit for them.nWell done Ocean View Fish and Chips, we are new locals to the area and we will keep coming back!
Great location with relaxed outdoor seating for the perfect summer lunch near the ocean without the sand!nFood was fresh, delicious & well priced.nYoung lady at front counter was very friendly and patient.
Unfortunately I have had to leave a poor review due to having ordered the fish pack with extra Dim Sims, potato cakes and gravey.nnI had specifically asked for all the Dim Sims to be steamed and thus to my shock horror when I came home and only 2 of the 4 Dim Sims that I ordered steamed were actually steamed.nnThe 2 star review is for the 2 Dim Sims that were accurate as part of the order.nnIt is unfortunate that we are up here on holiday as I would give them a second chance given the food was really tasty.nnP.S. - I very much appreciate the response from the owner, and have updated the review accordingly.
