It was a great place but I ordered the pork belly bites and in the description it said that it was glazed in plum sauce but really it was in a pool of it! There wasn't many options on the menu but still a great place to eat!
We decided to dine at the club Saturday night..l ordered a entree of scallops and chicken tenders with a curry sauce...on arrival to the table the most obvious thing was a how unbelievably tiny the scallops were approximately a five cent piece and how dry and chewy they were...swimming in a sea butter..very disappointing.nThe chicken skewers were also underwhelming lacking in flavour ..so for $30.00 my meal was very average..as a person who has spent 30+ years in the hospitality industry l fully understand the pressures of kitchens but you really need to look at the quality of food that you are serving ..please do better.
It was clean and welcoming. The lady on the front desk is polite and the other staff were amazing. They have gr8 meal choices and the beer was cold.
Staff very friendly how ever very disappointing meal for the price $$$ Lamb cutlets with lots of fat not stripped off and not cooked and very small amount of meat. Minimal vegies and to many potatoes. Deep fried prawns over done cold chips very dry. Curry average. Haven’t been for a while and won’t be rushing back.
OGBC hosted our wedding “recovery” function the morning after, and it was a great day for all. Those who were interested could enjoy a game of lawn bowls, and the kitchen accommodated our preferences by creating a variety of delicious breakfast buns for our guests.
