OGAC relocated an electric brake controller on my new Isuzu MUX to a more central location.  2 months later I had issues my fault with settings.  A call to Chris identified the probable issue and he immediately sent photos of the controller manual, with an offer of further support if required.  He was spot on, the problem resolved, and my caravanning adventure in Tassie continued with smooth responsive brakes.  Highly recommended!

Quote for roadworthy repairs way overpriced by $500, & if work done by own mechanic, charge of $77 on top of roadworthy cost for 5 mins hoist & photos for vic roads . Way over priced, expensive rip off

My engine splash shield came loose on the way to Geelong from Melbourne and Ocean Grove Automotive Centre went out of their way to fit my car in for an attempted repair of the splash shield and also to inspect a small oil leak. This was despite how busy they were and at very short notice. It was a huge relief to be reassured that the car was safe to drive and I am so appreciative of their service. Not reliable mechanic, way over priced. I brought my car to this mechanic for a cycliner 4 misfire, they called and said I needed 4 new spark plugs and all 4 coils, I had already replaced all the spark plugs and one of the coils two days prior and they quoted me just under $500, I called other mechanics and was quoted max $320, for this problem including Labor. I took my car to another reliable mechanic and the problem was not the coils or spark plugs, but the fuel injection, so they wanted to charge $500 and what they said wasn't even the problem to start with

My daughters and I have been getting our cars serviced and maintained at Ocean Grove Auto for over 6 years now.  Their pricing has always been better than the fixed price servicing offered by the dealership and we always receive a call if any additional work needs doing.  Recently I had to have my brakes replaced. Chris showed me a video explaining why my car needed brake pads and rotors, this was extremely informative and helped me understand fully what was being replaced and why. They keep our cars running beautifully!

I was on holiday in OG when my car's fuel pump gave up on a Thursday afternoon.  They offered me a hire car for the weekend to get back to Melbourne and had my car fixed ready to go first thing Monday morning at a very reasonable price!. Staff were very friendly, ladies at the front desk very helpful. Would highly recommend.
