After venturing to a couple of other local places, left feeling very underwhelmed by the menu we stopped in at Occy's. Warm, friendly and very welcoming service. Our food was absolutely delicious. My cocktail was superb and the beers spot on. Highly recommend, we will be back
We arrived around 7:45, kitchen closing at 8, happy to have us and placed our order pretty quick, good food and great alcohol selection. But the night was ruined as the whole time we were there every one of their staff was cleaning the restaurant around us. Scrubbing work services and floors, turning lights off in the kitchen area, which is pretty much the restaurant. Online, it states it closes at 9, why start cleaning at 7:45pm on a sat night. Enough to put me off ever going back.
this pub gets crowded quickly, so best to make a booking. great selection of craft beers, I really like their ginger beer, and their strawberry clouds cocktail is the best!!! my favourite dish was the stuffed jalapenos! service was great, the only thing I can fault was the squid I got last time was very chewy and heavy in grease, and the fish in the fish and chips was very excessively battered. my partner liked the Hawaiian pizza though.
This is only my favorite pub in Dunsborough! Visited twice during my two nights and three days trip and will come over again whenever I’m down south. Great beers, super friendly staff, nice outdoor seats.. flawless in every way
Food was average. Got the pork belly and beef from solos, with octopus and cauliflower from the shares. Large amount of salad compared to food with the solos, and the shares seemed to have less than the solos.nnThe pork was crispy, to the point of being hard. Still good though. Served with a mango, pineapple and peanut salad. Again, disproportionate in size compared to meat.nnThe beef was soft, with a nice hot sauce on top. Wasn't all that spicy. Served with a standard tomato, cucumber, etc. salad.nnThe cauliflower was probably one of the best things we had, crispy, with the mayo.nnOctopus was burnt, even after trying to remove the black bits, it still tasted of char.nnMaybe we came at a bad time, maybe not. Service was great, friendly staff. Good atmosphere.
