Despite the additional charge for the privilege of parking my car, I found the car park to be wholly reserved for permanent residents of the building. This was only after navigating every level of the car park and attempting to find my room number painted faintly on the concrete of the series of car parks which are marked in no logical order. Upon arriving at my room, I was struck by the hospital-inspired interior design, but noted the unfortunate lack of a bedside chair, which I planned on using. My room was equipped with antiques such as a first generation flatscreen tv and a beige air con unit from 1991 which leaked onto a distinctly dark shaded mould-spot on the carpet.nnThe kettle didn’t work.
This review is for AIRTRIP which is not apart of the Oaks rivermarque establishment Room 206B is privately owned and managed by airtrip.nWhich the reception staff do not acknowledge or assist with.nThis review is NOT directed at the Oaks rivermarque establishment.nnThe picture of the room we booked was not what we got.nnAirtrip is not a good system they were slow on giving code to get the room key, the parking was minimal, there is NO offer of a clean towel in a 5 day stay, the room needed attention with cleanliness and updating. This is all managed by AIRTRIP.nnI recommend to use Oaks rivermarque establishment as I believe the staff would be friendlier if you are their customer and I believe their rooms would be serviced and cleaned better than Airtrip.

Because there was no ventilation the bath towels didnt dry. After two days drying ourselves with wet towels we bought towels at Big WnOutdoor barbecue lights didn’t come on after an hour in the dark cooking using our phone torch’s for light.nBedside lamps didn’t worknOnly issued 1 room keynThe room advertised showed a kitchenette and laundry. When we got to our room we requested an upgrade but they never repliednWe advised booking.com of these issues and they did nothing. Please book directly with the hotel and don’t use incompetent booking .com. You’ll be disappointed by booking.comnIt was a shambles for us and we’ve learnt by our mistake
Not only are the staff incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful, but willing to go above and beyond to assist with requirements. It's not often you find multiple staff members who really do care about what they do like they do here.
Great room. Apartment was clean & bed was very comfortable.nCentral location, short walk to restaurants and shops.
