Rooms we stayed in were nice and luxurious, nice big beds and beautiful bathrooms. Hotel staff was friendly and the adjacent cafe where we went for breakfast had great food.nnHowever, perhaps a weird complaint to make... but I've never been more disappointed with toilet paper before. Got a luxurious room for a luxurious price with all the bells and whistles, to find out bathroom's were stocked with half-ply toilet paper. It was see-through. See-through toilet paper in one of their more expensive rooms. Disappointing.nnPool was nice, but the wall with fountains looked like it needed some updating and refreshing & water was NOT heated. Shame, as the outdoor temperature was lovely, but the water being too cold to enjoy.nnBreakfast was lovely in the nice cafe belonging to the hotel. Had booked with breakfast included, but non the less they tried to make us pay for the breakfast, until we spoke up and questioned it. No big deal, but if we'd missed it, we'd have paid double.
Bathroom was disgusting with mould and dirt, reported to management and they said it’s just water stains all the rooms are like that and that I don’t understand what I’m talking about. There was mould in the shower everywhere, The bathroom needs cleaning properly not the half job it’s been getting.nYou can see the build up of dust on the toilet roll holder in the photo this is not clean, very disappointing for a GHA property.nCouch has holes in it and veranda has cigarette butts everywhere.nWas never told breakfast finished at 9am so we missed breakfast as well.nnDefinitely would recommend not staying there.
After a stressful day dealing with road closures due to flooding and cancelled flights, I made a last-minute reservation with Oaks Rivermarque. The service I received was exceptional—far exceeding expectations and a rare level of care and professionalism in today’s world. Highly recommend!
This stay is under value and made me a little be disappointed. All the towels are too old. The room cannot give me the holiday feel, just worker accommodation only. The room smells odd likes killing mosquitoes liquid
0 star rating. Do not stay here. The rooms have no facilities AT ALL. Not even a microwave to heat a frozen meal. Cups, bowls and plates… for nothing. Simply has a bar fridge and kettle. How are guests supposed to eat/cook food? No washing machines or dryers etc. Photos have clearly been used from other hotels, it is nothing like the pictures. Completely false advertisement. Worst experience of my life.
