Hotel rooms were very tidy and clean. Very basic and minimalist. Personally, thought the lack of decor/art made the room feel like a hospital ward but that's personal preference. All in all, comfortable bed with good amenities. Sound proofing left something to be desired.
Fantastic stay at Oaks Rivermarque. The room was spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The bathroom was huge and had everything we needed. The location to shops and local restaurants was ideal.nnWe had a great stay and will be back again.
Short stay but awesome! Very friendly and obliging staff, comfy bed, well appointed kitchen and clean room. So close to everything.
I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Oaks. The staff from start to check out were quite nice. Very responsive and kind. Only small thing I could think about was they were not stuck with toothpaste which I had forgotten.nnThe rooms themselves were quite lovely I like the minimal aesthetic but it might not be for everyone. Everything was nice and clean, and the room smelled like citrus when I first walked into it. It might have been the cleaning products. Nevertheless the room was quite spacious.nnThe thing that really stuck out to me though were the huge windows besides the bed. I love waking up the sunrise and sunlight so this was an absolute dream for me. I felt so warm in the morning.nnThe view from the room is also quite lovely mixing a little bit of the city landscape as well as the nearby ocean.nnOnly other thing I can really think about was some of the taps, shower head, and seal around the shower we're a little bit dirty and had a buildup of sediment on it. Be nice if that could be checked out.
Wonderful receptionist was very eager to help. Location is close to local shopping & ease of access to CBD. Gated parking was a safe addition to stay.
