Oakleigh Fish N Chippery owned by the same family for over 30 years and they're Greek! Not often you find a genuine Greek Fish and Chip shop these days!

Story

Owned and operated by the same family for over 25 years, from the couple who began the business on their own taking orders without paper and just going off memory, to the days of today where generations later - the grandchildren (who are now all grown up!) run the shop and have over 6 staff of a night time to keep up with the busy pace we have!

Friday nights we have lines out the door, and the phone does not stop. We have generations of family who we have grown up with and seen their children grow and still come to our Fish and Chip shop for a feast.

We aim to give our customers that old school, delicious fish and chips taste experience, but serve it to them in a clean and modern setting!

The aim of Oakleigh FNC is to bring back the old "on the corner fish and chippie" that we all loved, but with friendly service and good pricing.

I come here quite often as I believe this is the best fish and chips in town. I am always served either on the phone or in person by a lovely lady I believe named Mary. She truly makes my night each time I come. 10/10 recommend to anyone who lives nearby.

Ordered and picked up their Blue Grenadier fish with calamari rings -with their musterd sauce and lemon slices ... wow ...amazing fresh and tasty ....the freshness & quality was great ...worth every minute of 15 minutes waiting ...will sure be coming again ..

Very much a few experience foods; deep fried patties, healthy rice and all can be served on traditional newspapers. Quite a dinner.

Recently ordered the lot burgers and I wasn't happy.  The meat was horrible it didn't taste like fresh meat and felt sick after. The chips are very oily to eat. It's unfortunate because this was our go to fish and chip place. The quality isn't as great as it used to be.

Best fish and chips place I know of. The chips are perfection, no idea how they make them so crunchy and fresh. Fish is always fresh and cooked perfectly. Great work guys, keep it up!

Food was great and had a great conversation with a lad named George. Great service.
