We love NQR, we usually only buy things like snacks for the kids and our work lunches and stuff, we save so much money buying food this way. Everything I've gotten from there has been fine as far as quality goes. I got a packet of Darrell Lee white chocolate raspberry balls, and some of them were stuck together and not perfect, that's the kind of thing I expect, the taste is still good and the food is still good, it just didn't make the cut on the production line. The werribee store is small but it has been updated and is good. The server at the checkout was lovely.
I've been in here a couple of times. so many discounted groceries. So much stock for pantry, toiletries, and the freezer. They also have a walk-in chiller in store with dairy food milk, yogurt, cheese, butter, deli, ham, frankfurts, etc. Hardware section as well that's really affordable all items basically $2. Frezzers also stocked with processed food and desserts. Good place to get goods at affordable prices.
Just went to go here to get a couple of items and they have closed early. They shut at 7 pm and doors were locked at 6:53pm. The staff inside pretended not to see me. If you only plan to stay open until 6:50 perhaps advertise that. My guess is the owner is too cheap to pay staff past 7pm so they lock up early so they can leave at 7. Pretty poor!
Place looks old and run down but it has some awesome food specials def worth a look in if your close by
Great for snacks, cereals frozen food. Lots of dairy choices and small goods often. You can save a bundle.
Stock is always changing , they have a small cool room at the back and a freezer section, some prices are the same as other shops but sometimes you can get things at a massively reduced price , staff have always been happy and friendly.
Good stuff I can always pick up what I want
It's a funny place, but in a good way. The staff are always super friendly. Sometimes things can be unbelievably cheap and at others be on par with the major supermarkets. A lot of the shelves are full of processed foods, confectionery or things loaded with trans fats, but if you know your stuff, you can be lucky and find something amazingly healthy. In recent times their freezers have had a lot of quality vegetarian meals way below competitor prices. The aisles are too narrow for the island displays they insist on installing as it's always a case of saying excuse me when passing another shopper. Other than that, it's fun.
This is one of my favorite shops it always has great treats at very reasonable prices. I try to go there least once a week.
Great to visit for cheap some good items
