Consistently great food, awesome atmosphere and set up and wonderful staff make this one of our top places to eat out Amazing cocktails Great kids play area too
Seriously the best Chicken Schnitzel I have ever had. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and lovely and buttery.Food: 5/5
Wished the menu was more Irish, couldn’t find a stew, but the chicken schnitty was crunchy and tender! Great atmosphere, good for lads and kids with the beer garden and playground equipment.
One of the few good meals I’ve had this year. Well balanced ingredients; good portion without being the usual Australian ‘enormous’; despite a big crowd able to have a conversation with my companion. I’d eat here again.
Not a bad pub but the security and rules have ruined it. The past 4 times I’ve gone to have a awesome night with my mates and as the driver I wasn’t drinking. 3/4 times I wasn’t allowed entry… one for my shoes and the others because they didn’t like the way I look maybe because I have a ponytail but the judgement has gone out of hand. There is no reasoning with security or management they are just a stuck up little pub with no fairness whatsoever..
The head chef is one of the best in town! :-. Food is always amazing. Tasty pub tucker but also daily specials are good value with 4days a week lunch meal at $12.
Good pub food, good atmosphere, reasonable prices. Some Wait staff could learn to smile. I must say though, this is not an Irish pub. Other then the decor, the food itself doesn’t represent an Irish menu whatsoever.
Came here for a 50th birthday celebration. As advertised as a family friendly place. Arrived at 6 and went to order food in a long line! It took over an hour to order and then half an hour to get our food. By that time this place apparently becomes a "nightclub". Staff had placed all 30 guests right next to the bar. Was so distressing to have drunk people bumping into my sleeping babies pram whilst trying to eat. Also had a drink spilled on me Because the area was so crowded with people trying to get drinks. I could not eat in peace!! This needs to change I would never recommend this place for a large gathering. They do not cater to restaurant facilities. They are too busy getting money from teens wanting to get drunk!! I suggest some type of online menu to order. Absolutely ridiculous to line up for such a long time to order. I also suggest that you clear the area near the bar!! You can not eat and have that many people surrounding you absolutely discusting. Security were a joke, bullies and very unprofessional
Haven't been there for 20+ year's. Have set up a large beautiful beer garden at the back and inside is beautiful too. Food was also delicious! Will definatley be going there again xFood: 5/5
Was a nice place but we were booked till 6pm but we're told that we had to vacate the table 5.45 as they had other bookings we ask for the table till 6pm as we had Birthday cake to come after everyone had eaten. We left the table and went outside to the garden area and around 6.30 pm the table was still vacant so there was no need to rush us off the table as that was the main concern as we were rushed to vacate the table Kid-friendliness: Kids were most welcome and had a play area for them
