Would not recommend this tertiary institution. I would give this institution a 0 if it were possible. the pharmacy technician tutors were unprofessional during tests, the tutors would talk loudly with other staff in the same room when students were sitting tests. The pharmacy tutors were useless when it came to students receiving grades for assignments and tests. Grades were given verbally only and not published on the student portal at all. Unprofessional facilities/classrooms - a lot of the classes are situated right next to the lift, which is extremely noisy with people passing through the hallways, as well as noise from other classes can be heard from a mile away which is a poor environment to be learning/teaching. Also there are 0 study spaces available. The NZMA building closes at roughly 3pm, this is problematic because students may want to stay in the building to study for assignments at this time The pharmacy technician level 5 course outline was poorly structured and did not include the assessment dates. During class tests students would often talk with one another and discuss their answers, The pharmacy technician tutors would turn a blind eye to this The overall structure for the pharmacy technician level 5 course was extremely poor. There were no PowerPoint slides during classes, classes were not recorded and uploaded to the student portal. The pharmacy technician tutors would hand out way too much paper that detailed the course content. Each class students were given so much hard copy material, Most of this hard copy content should’ve been available on the student portal because students were expected to bring this copious amount of paper which wouldn’t even fit in a bag, that’s how much paper students were given to each class. The classes should’ve also been recorded so that students could refer back to the content of each class. Terrible tertiary institution, go to AUT or UOA instead
Levi Kenny, said because I didn’t pay the tuition but other students paid the tuition so I couldn’t go there and listen to FREE lessons. I understand that no one would offer FREE service. But my intention is to know the content of the program or course a bit more and also to know the lecture of the college then I can enroll in the July intake. Well, looking at the comments on google, making students lost tuition, wasn’t too gud anyway. Wendy
I have a very bad experience with PHARMACY TECHNICIAN LEVEL 5 course, I have been misleading by the teachers when they let me pass the entry exam and I didn’t, just to get my money, I didn’t get any help from the teachers at that course, the pass paper should be 100 out of 100, there is no A, or B grads, many students lost their student loan or first year free loan , because they had to withdraw after struggling , once you pass the first 2 weeks of study, you won’t have any refund.I have won my complaint against them by NZQA, but the money that I have put in this course I can’t get it, unless I have a lawyer and enough money for that battle. They made me loose $10,000, but I made 5 students from my community and the people that I know to withdraw after applying for that course. I have explained to them everything before they bait. And I am going to continue saying that advice to everyone I know. My advice is not to choose that course relaying in the interview exam results,NZMA would make you pass either way, unless you have a health science degree background, no one would help you later.its like hunting trap.
I can't wait to get started, kitchens look very professional and well laid out, smaller class sizes mean more one on one with tutors, yeah looks great
Great private university to study hospitality, trades, call center, Tourism and much more under.
Unfriendly faculty
