Nice cafe to relax either before or after the walk at the Nut reserve. Located off the car park.Food: 4/5
Lavender ice cream was nice, deffo not covid safe tho, the guy that runs it handles everything with bare hands with no cleaning between, ice cream cones... cash... anything. Shop has a good variety of souvenirs etc, price seems relatively in line with other places.
This is a terrific little cafe combined with a gift shop. Delicious scallop pies and nice breakfasts.

Very friendly, good service, lots of interesting things in the gift shop, but don't come here if you want a good coffee.
Chairlift opened at 9-30. Needed to go to the toilet before I went up. I could get in but got locked in and had to ring my husband to let me out. The old man that ran the place was very cranky and told me the toilets were not open till 10 am. Preposterous! He also told a father with a child on his back that the public toilets were open - in town! As if! According to reviews - this is happening all the time. We were going to buy something but walked out in disgust.
There was only 1 guy working there at the time. He handled food as well as money without gloves or washing his hands. My pie got burnt. The food was very overpriced. The toilets stank and dead flies were littered on the window sills. Just go to Maccas.
