Absolute trash! Don't do the basics despite taking your money. Called for 7 weeks for them to simply call the other party and initiate negotiation of liability. They would put me on hold when I called to then contact the other party, which is just disgusting. Take your money elsewhere and invest in an insurance company that will actually honour their promise and their word.
Been with NRMA for years, never had such a bad experience. Putting in a claim, and getting the run around. Long wait times 30Minutes sometimes over an hour. Had to call several times to talk to someone in settlements, took 3 attempts to get a call back. Then no follow up. Sent me to a repairer with a 6 month wait. I expect better from this company.. Too big, and not enough staff, almost as bad as qantas. Transferred between department and massive waits. Terrible overall - avoid NRMA as an insurer and chosse someone like Comminsure, they are very proficient in my experience. Not real happy with experience. Loyal customer for several years and was basically ignored and not listened to in regards to recent claim for hail damage. Very rude.
Have tried all day to get through on the number provided, left message to call back absolutely hopeless, 3 attempts all over 30 minutes on each occasion pretty bad customer service wake up adrian
They said the assessor who assessed the car for insurance claim has left the company and i have to do the assessment process again...ufff..they are driving me crazy
I have been trying desperately to get answers with regards to my claim, every time I end up, after being put on hold for an eternity, speaking to someone in a foreign call centre, who in unable and unwilling to help me in anyway, and you are never able to speak to the same person twice, NRMA have totally left me completely stranded for over a month now, there customer service is appalling and they should be ashamed of them selves, Avoid NRMA at all cost, as you will regret this company if the time ever comes for you to make a claim
Easily one of the most expensive insurance products.They may offer you a decent price to begin with but they will keep rising the price. I have got some quotes at nearly half what NRMA are charging me currently $102 a month for a $12k vehicle. Poor customer service makes it even worse.
I have just rang the NRMA on a current claim, which has been assessed, with no reply from the NRMA so I have rang and after going through 8 options then waiting 20 minutes to speak to someone who is supposed to be the person to correct my no contact from the NRMA I am then told she is not the correct person and put on hold again. I am now been waiting for someone to speak to on hold now for 1hour and 12 minutes, with some one saying we appreciate your time and someone will contact you as soon as possible. if they think my time is valuable why leaving a person on hold for now 1hr and 15 minutes. Pathetic service. I will give up at 1hr and 30 Min.I gave up at 1hr and 33min GREAT SERVICE!
Was a long standing customer but when I found car insurance elsewhere for $200 cheaper I called to ask them if they could improve on their price. Told bluntly “no” okay, fair enough. So I went with AAMI after over a decade. They then call me up a few weeks later when I didn’t renew my insurance and asked me why. I told them I had called them first and they didn’t want to keep me as a customer. I told them perhaps they should look into their records before calling to “retain a customer who had already called them first”. I’m now getting emails for 10% discount if I sign up for car insurance with them. Just stop. Please. You had your chance. You blew it.
On hold for one hour and forty minutes to make a claim. This insurance company is happy to take your money but provides no service.
