This is a very very lovely comfortable place to stay. It’s like the sweet middle spot between the city and airport. Although the car park is not neat, it’s still spacious and easy to access into the hotel. A shout out to Lisa the waitress at the kitchen for professionally maintaining the cafeteria so clean for customers to have breakfast peacefully. My wife and kids enjoyed getting the breakfast there. The two double bedroom we stayed in is awesome - separated by the bathroom. More privacy.
My stay at Novotel Preston started off really well. The check in staff were welcoming, friendly and even upgraded my room, which was a lovely surprise. The room itself was great, and my first impression of the hotel was very positive.nnUnfortunately, that changed on my first morning at breakfast. I had just woken up, was still a bit tired, and honestly couldn't remember my room number. I had my driver's licence with me and was happy to show my ID, but despite proving who I was, I was told I needed to go back and find out my room number before I could enter the breakfast area.nnThe whole interaction left me feeling like I had done something wrong. It was embarrassing having to stand there in front of other guests while being turned away, despite having identification that clearly matched the booking. It felt like I was being treated as though I was trying to get something for free, when in reality I had simply forgotten my room number for a moment.nnI completely understand that hotels need to verify breakfast access, but there has to be a better way. If a guest can provide valid photo ID that matches the reservation, it seems like common sense and good customer service to verify it another way rather than sending them away.nnIt's disappointing because the staff at check in set such a positive tone, and everything had been excellent up until that point. Sadly, that breakfast experience overshadowed what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
Terrific motel. Many different choices of rooms and prices. Very helpful concierge and book in staff. Handy position of motel, close to great shopping, lovely pub, and the Stampton is just outside the motel, which serves food and drink, and is attached to motel by a walkway. Safe underground parking for a daily fee. Room service available. Rooms are spacious, beds comfy and the rooms are very clean. A little added bonus is the pod coffee machine in every room, with complimentary pods, milk, tea etc.nI would highly recommend Novotel Preston. Its handy to the Austin hospital which was great for us.
Talk about working Holiday, this Hotel was by far the best Accommodation we've ever used for working away, the food was exceptional, Breakfast worth getting dont be a tight ass, get the breaky & a coffee you will not need lunch, get the city side veiw something to gaze at.. I dont wont to leave, room service was fast, staff are fantastic definitely staying back even if I have to drive the extra. High light of my week.
I had a lovely stay at Novotel in Preston last night. I was running late to check in but they were friendly and helpful and then gave me a later check out time for the morning.nnSpecial thank you to Brayden who helped me out this morning and was so helpful and lovely, when my key card stopped working unexpectedly. Thanks again!
