Story

Northside Clinic is an independently owned General Practice in Fitzroy North. Our team includes 13 General Practitioners who have special interests in areas of medicine including Sexual Health, Men's, Women's and Transgender Health, HIV management, LGBTIQ Health and travel medicine.

Northside Clinic Allied Heath is our newly opened Allied Health Clinic across the road from our General Practice. Our Allied Health team consists of an Osteopath, Therapeutic Remedial Masseur, Psychologists and Dietitians. All of our Allied Health team share similar interests to our GP's and aim to provide a complementary, high standard of care to our patients.

Northside Clinic aims to provide an inclusive, caring and respectful service to all members of the community.

I have been going to this clinic way back when it was in Carlton. The level of care I have received is truly outstanding. Always pragmatic and non-judgemental. I feel I am in charge of my health and treatment. Northside Clinic have cared for me during times when others wouldn't or couldn't. Excellent medical care is essential to a healthy society.

I have just started going here recently and my experience with the doctors and nurses has been nothing but positive. But I can not condone how the have handled my complaints about someone that works at the Melbourne pathology in that building. I have auditory processing issues and when I am waiting to be called for something I try and focus on hearing that but sometimes I just can't. For this I got chewed out by this lady even after I apologized. I did not catch her name and a few hours later called them to make a complaint about her. They listen to me and ask if I would like to make a written complaint telling me that I would receive a text with her name and an email to address the complaint to which I never received. After this I ended up using the contact section on the website to make the complaint this was over a week ago now and have not heard anything back.

I've been a patient of this clinic since its very, very early days way back in Carlton. I've always felt respected and cared for whenever I've attended the clinic. The reception staff are amazing, the doctors are professional, friendly and caring.

This was my clinic for five years when I lived this side of the City. Moving to the other side of the Yarra meant I had to change doctors so I tried Prahran Market Clinic. Three visits and one complaint email later and I am back Northside.
