On 3 occasions now I have contacted NT for parts and advice. Nice as pie on the phone, last time a few days ago I was told that a technician would call me straight back after lunch 11.30. Like the other times they never called back and this is car which has been serviced by them for years. In the market for a new Prado, but I couldn't rely on NT so will go to an Auckland dealer. Disappointing. whangarei has a dealer that does not match the quality of the vehicles they sell..Terrible communication or lack of it.
Excellent Sales and Service Staff. As in any Service orientated business there are odd problems occurring. Brand New, 1st. A new tire was required and guess what, the same sort of problem along with excuses of how and why this had happened on a new vehicle. Very disappointed. They could have done better, Maybe we were unlucky.

It took a whole day but I am grateful they fixed the airbag safety issue. Not a technical thing but found treatment from staff disappointing:- I understand they didn't want to fit my car seat in the courtesy car for safety reasons, however was pretty stink they stood and watched me struggling to carry the seat, pram etc between vehicles with a baby under one arm. The offer to help once I had finished was a bit of a joke.

My current drive is an Estima. Wife loves her Corolla. I spent over 20 minutes reviewing vehicles in the sales yard ... with car cleaning crew doing their thing mid morning. A rather lacklustre salesperson cruised up and started a chat. Each time I wanted to have a close look at a vehicle he disappeared inside for a few minutes. He knew a lot about various makes/models and appeared to listen to my concerns, queries and interest. But not being a good listener he missed my keeness to get into a new car. Honda won the day - by lunchtime it was - 'car out of the box', now awaiting pickup!
