We reserved a superior room at this hotel for a few nights because we have a conference in North Sydney. This location is truly special. My room was very clean and spacious. It had a desk, which was very convenient for me to complete my weekly reports. They also have a gorgeous, lush yard that makes me miss home and gives you the impression that you're not in the city. I recommend staying here!
3 star hotel rather than 4. Rooms and furniture need updating. No hand or face towels provided. No cutlery other than spoons. Poor TV reception. Thin walls. Kept awake through night by guests in nearby room. Would not book again after 2 stays. Food & drinks: Nearby North Sydney Hotel opposite North Sydney Oval.

This historical building adds to the grandeur of North Sydney. If you have an appointment at the US Consulate, this hotel on Miller Street is the finest option. It is situated across St. Leonards Park, which is also ideal for an early morning or late-night run. They have the most inexpensive rooms in North Sydney, all of which have an ensuite. It is also very clean, and if you remain for more than one night, they provide daily cleaning to keep your room clean throughout your stay.
Our family stayed in the family room. It was very clean, everything worked, there was air con and a ceiling fan. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately it had NO windows at all and had a stale smell in the room.Rooms: 3/5
Worst accomodation we have ever had in North Sydney, room was filthy, smelled of stale cigarettes, window opened to an interior hallway. Show door broken, dirty tissues in the stained disgusting carpet … spoke to reception about changing rooms and he suggested I ask my friends to switch with me. I’m NO! do yourself a favour and do not stay here.
We stayed here for a night a couple of weeks ago. Great location quiet, low traffic. Great hosts, good clean rooms, lovely garden and facilities. The staff were extra accomadating for our early checkin.
Horrible owners. I was heading to Sydney for surgery and had to cancel as we got blocked in Bathurst due to massive floods. No alternate route. The owners would not cancel.. would not refund, no partial refund or even offer credit toward a rebooking. They are theives taking advantage of someone while they are down.Rooms: 1/5
The room was clean, the bathroom was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the towels were super white and very big n fluffy. Ali who looked after us was kind helpful and saw to our needs with grace and kindness. He went out of his way to be helpful and nothing was a trouble for him. Thank you so much Ali . We will certainly come again and recommend the North Shore Hotel.
Worst Hotel. Lied about the rooms in the photos. No facilities as shown, won't refund. So small can't even turn around, no lift, no bath! Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to stayRooms: 1/5
