Good Friendly Service And Advice
Well, it's been 2 years ago since I had a car accident ... My only 4 yo car was 'write off', but thx God I survived with only a terrible bruises on my abdomen from the seat belts. After a good and deserved payout from my Insurance, I paid to them thousands of $$$ yearly and I never had a claim!* I was able to buy a new demo* Honda HRV. I take 'her' for a yearly check ups to North Jacklin Nissan in the morngs, and she's ready to be picked up at around 12:00pm. Jason or, lady from Nth Jacklin Nissan, drops me off home in their courtesy car, and then Nissan calls me, & someone picks me up from my place to collect the car. And all of these seems good. But...when I pick up my car after service, sometimes I have a doubts if I can fully 'trust the service' that it has been performed to it? Why? , because of cars at the dealers workshops are serviced by young apprentices*, & I am afraid that some of them are without yet a proper skills, and they're working on cars unsupervised... And also, I feel, I hope that I am bloody wrong*? some of their supervisors won't bother to check if the services are done properly? Not all though... I always 'pray' & hope that my car is OK. to drive safely after. I had a bad experience years ago. My partner is an 'old fasion' mechanic & after my car was serviced, log book filled out and signed by workshop, & after I paid a hefty $$$ fee for it, he's found out that half of the job wasn't done properly?! But that is a 'history' now, and I won't say at which dealer's workshop it happened* So, I pay for the services at the counter, get receipt, check it out, and voilà! I go off to town, or home in a hope that all will be like 'tra, la,la'! What I can say is that staff at Nissan are very friendly and helpful. There's a lovely lounge room near front desk, that you can sit down in a comfy chair, enjoy a cuppa, read newspaper while waiting. I have no major complaints about Nth Jacklin Nissan services to may car... maybe only that it is a bit expensive? My Honda HRV goes well, and I am not sorry that I bought her. She's all auto, keyless entry, push button start, eco drive, flashy indicators on outside mirrors which also folds up automatically, power steering, sunroof, central locking system, alarm, leather seats & steering wheel, sports metal pedals...WOW! I deserve that! After working hard for nearly bloody 40 years, saving and paying taxes! Before buying my new car 2 years ago, there was 1 thing that I didn't like it...that she's had this yellow like scrambled chicken eggs!!! spacer tyre colour ?! OMG... Before I signed the contract, I asked sales rep to give me a 'normal' spare tyre instead of a 'scrambled eggs' yellow spacer and...he did hey! Plus he gave me also a few 'extras' plus free tint. Deal done! I my Honda HRV.
