We are a bulk billing, Not for Profit women's clinic staffed by female general practitioners and nurses with a particular interest in Women's issues.

Story

We offer completely confidential consultations, we fit Mirenas, copper intrauterine devices, diaphragms and implanon, we do pap smears and breast checks, we do pregnancy testing and counselling, we initiate infertility assessment and we treat menstrual and hormonal problems.

This is a wonderful clinic. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The nurses and doctors are knowledgeable and take the time to understand your reason for visit. The staff explained all investigative procedures to me and explained the outcome and findings of each one. They took the time to help me explore options and provided information on every one. If this clinic closes, it will be a major loss of the women of the Sunshine Coast.

Had to wait 2months!! for telehealth appt. Not good for mental health issues. Finally appt. day arrived & they waited until a few hours before my appt time to say "Sorry cant keep this appt". I mean that has to be negligence to Duty of Care!? Been a patient there for 15+years.. will NEVER recommend this "womens health practice". Appalling treatment.

Lovely staff! Alison is always a pleasure to go and see. They are all extremely accomodating.

The ladies at North coast are really amazing and supportive. Recently got a IUD and previous doctor's had made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe around any decisions to do with my reproductive health care. The ladies supported me to make an informed decision about my health and talked me through each step. Could not recommend more

I have been seeing Dr Lisa Hammerton who has been fantastic! Very thorough and has helped me immensely with menopause - forever grateful! I also really like Vicky who runs the front desk efficiently and is always so calm and peaceful.

Worst clinic. The doctor I saw was extremely rude and very hurtful what she said, didn't show any sympathy or care just laughed at me at times. Rhe nurse was useless couldn't spell the name off the medications I take had to spell them for her, she also did not show any sympathy just kept taking everyone as joke. They both rubbished my own GP, my own GP has said he'll not be recommending them to anyone ever again. Had a medical procedure done the day I had first appointment, she Dr left me in extreme pain, also the dr wanted me have the scans and tests done which my own GP had done already and. Had the worst experience no staff there showed any sympathy, kindness or anything at all, they were rude and very hurtful. They dont know to answer the phones there as I tried multiple times to cancel my appointment. Have made a formal a complaint and they didn't take that seriously, worst clinic I've been to and would not recommend anyone to them. Also disturbing service and worst nursing staff I've experienced. I'm a nurse myself and your suppose to be kind, caring and understanding and I got none off that. My own GP was absolutely horrified when I told him and he's personally crossed them off for recommendations for other patients. Would never go backt there ever again.

The fat woman that I spoke to was extremely condescending saying i would change my mind about having kids and laughed at me.

I agree with one of the other comments- the doctors always give you time and LISTEN! I find this very rare. All the ones I’ve seen at NCWH over the years have been lovely as is Vicki, the receptionist. Thankyou for your wonderful service.

Everything about North Coast Womens Health centre is a 10/10 for me. Every time I have been here the doctors have been so thorough, taking there time to listen, and I feel they genuinely care and will do everything to help. Amazing bunch of women!

Compassionate and kind team. Will always go here now on.  Edit: Discriminatory. Hope you shut down.
