Used to live here, nice place
The electronic sign posts are frequently broken and or not working. Platform 1 is for trains to Leeds. Platform 2 is for Wakefield and outward bound trains from Leeds. Recommend using electronic ticket machine if catching the 7:33 to leeds to ensure you have a ticket when you arrive in leeds as the ticket point inside leeds station can be very very busy at times. the 7:33 train is often packed, leaving standing room only and little to no chance of purchasing a ticket once on the train.
A great example of why people aren’t persuaded to use public transport.
