The Nasi Goreng and prawn crackers were yummy. I went in with my family just as Noodles Tonight opened for the evening. The place looked a little worn and aged. A gentleman greeted us and took our takeaway order. He then cooked the meals on the spot in front of us. This was a nice surprise. Some restaurants pre-cook and heat up dishes. I'm glad that we didn't judge a book by its cover. It was like having an elderly father cook some good meals for the kids and grandkids. I've put off writing this for a few months. I can't stop thinking about the meal.
Addictive noodles, I wish their lunch noodles were 75% of the size and price. I’m sure they would be even more popular. And the no EFTPOS thing just screams ATO, quite frustrating and means I go there less when I forget cash.
Very bad experience. Not at all hygienic place. No receipts or invoices provided and when requested for receipts, the lady at the counter started yelling at us with racist comments. This is truly not acceptable and we have approached authorities to have an enquiry on this. Try avoiding this place as you might end up having a very bad time.
Not over friendly but the noodles are the best. Amazing how a smile can make all the difference... Parking: Parking is easy in Bairnsdale.

Very rude staff. We ordered food for a group of people and paid money - no invoice or bills were provided even on request and said they accept only cash and no cards and commented that this is how they worked for past 20 plus years without any receipts. The lady staff at the counter started arguing with us and she said we already collected the food we ordered, but we never collected. She started screaming at us and asked us to get out after using bad and racist words. She even raised a chair to hit us. We have all the evidences of the act and the way she behaved. We are approaching the authorities for necessary actions. Request to anyone who may look for restaurants in that place, please avoid going over there - “Noodles Tonight”
Food is reasonable but the fact they do cash only with no receipts suggests this business is taking cash under the till. Tax department would be very interested.
Fried rice is best I've had in years, and satay noodles are delicious too!
No eftpos, cash only and this is my reasonfor giving 4 stars. Great noodles. Plenty of flavour and very nice prawns. Wouldn't hesitate in returning
