An amazingly extensive wine list from which to  select, wines were across a wide range of prices. The food was full of  interesting flavours. The owner's wine knowledge is profound. For a 'local' wine bar, noble rot  punches far above its weight. Friendly helpful  staff. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff and good quality wines - and mine host doesn't skimp when filling the glass! We stumbled upon this place in the late afternoon (and we hadn't even been drinking!) We ordered 2 glasses of some very refreshing French bubbly. A group of 'plum-in-the-mouth' mature ladies sat near us at the outside corner, rabbiting on endlessly about their 'wooonderful' Melbourne Cup visit. Very entertaining, as we sipped the fine tipples while restraining the giggles and nudging each other periodically.
