Sitting in another café right now and wishing I had just gone to Nish Café instead… nothing compares to their food and coffee.nnHonestly, I don’t even know where to start. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and every single thing has been delicious. The pancakes are incredibly fluffy and you get a great portion for the price. The cabinet food is always full of flavour, and the sandwiches are never plain or boring they’re packed with tasty ingredients and are nice toasted with garlic butter. Perfect whether you’re sitting down or grabbing something on the run.nThe coffee is hands down the best you’ll find in Porirua trust me, I’ve tried plenty of places. On top of that, the service is amazing. The staff are always friendly, smiling, and polite, which makes the whole experience even better.
Good coffee, nice brunch menu. The fries were very good. The staff were very helpful. Couldn't give it 5 stars as one of my eggs was slightly underdone. Runny yolk great, but not runny white.
One of my favorite places!nBagels here are very tasty, crunchy and fresh. I also love shakshouka and smoothies!
The service, food and coffee were all good. The disappointing thing was the cleanliness of the tables. Our table and the others nearby that were empty had not been wiped down. It was sticky to touch. When I asked the first girl to come and wipe it clean, she did a poor job still leaving a few crumbs and still sticky. I had to ask the man who brought over our order to please come back and wipe again. It is important to keep a high level of hygiene in eating establishments. There is nothing more off putting to feel your arms sticking to the table when you are about to eat. Hope this is enough to raise their standard.
Highly recommend the chicken and mushroom pies, the rolls, and the bagels. The bread is baked in-house so all the cabinet items that use bread are really good. The big breakfast and BLT are also excellent. Great food but the coffee is inconsistent depending on who's the barista.
