Perched above the rooftops of the culinary strip at Camberwell Road we spied the world through the sphere belonging to the neon sign that declares you are now at the art deco jewel known as the Rivoli.
Evening had not quite darkened giving this moment in life illumination beyond sight.  Everything suddenly felt welcoming,, warm, intriguing and new. Such is the unhurried and casual feel of Nineteenforty.
You wont find a fully stacked bar behind the pop-up servery which specialises in gin, but you will find an assortment of cocktails that would please almost all tastes. From the fashion forward Espresso Martini to the cool and classic Long Island Iced Tea however I opted for the tangy Mojito which was delicious and didn't fail to refresh. Hip pockets will feel no difference when compared to other establisments offering the same drinks. 
Snacks are on offer too but I skipped that menu.

Worst opening hours I've ever seen for a bar. Closes at 5pm, not open sat or sun. (They are the hours on google maps anyway). What is the point.
