UPDATE; food poisoning. I woke up with cramps in my stomach and had it coming out both ends; never again will I eat here. The veggie tikka masala is good but the old man was not very friendly and he forgot my rice plus no plasticware or serviettes, luckily I carry my own! I called him back to see if maybe they would deliver it and he said I never ordered rice… He even repeated back to me when I ordered it over the phone and who doesn’t order rice with any masala???
Three of us went to this restaurant and had the lunchtime thalli which was extremely good and very substantial. The young female waiter was friendly and very helpful. It is hard to give a star rating because we recommended the restaurant to an Indian friend who has a strict vegetarian diet, after being assured she would be catered for. Unfortunately, when they visited, the owner was so rude, obnoxious and unaccommodating, that she and her friends left and had something at another restaurant. Too bad. 9Marys deserves more stars than this based on our experience, but we won't be back.
We took a bad decision going to this restaurant. Waiter the cashier guy is in a hurry and expresionless. Very rude. Never go there. They don't want us to dine in there as they don't have empty 2 seated table. Meanwhile they were having bigger seated tables.
Really good place in the city. Peaceful and quiet location. Also, quality of food and service were amazing and fast. Less options for vegetarian but whichever is on the menu is really delicious. Surely visit again.
Great place. Butter chicken was amazing and Vindaloo is nice and spicy.
Decent place in cbd and convenient for city offices, the food quality is good too, just a bit too plain compared to top indian restaurants I’ve been to
Had a good meal here. Service was good, food came out quick and was nicely cooked and warm. Great Indian food selection. Would come again. Thank you.
The chicken biriyani was delicious but the friendliness of the staff was poor. A good hosting is always gives a warm experience. 26/03/2022 After being contacted by the restaurant owner during late hours and because of their argumentative attitude I have changed the rating to 1 star.
The veg thali was great for lunch but expensive at $23.00
Great food, too much though. Customer service could improve a little bit more
