Back in Swan Hill for work and back at Niko Niko for dinner. Time to try the new location which is across from the old closed one. This truly is a breathtaking space and it’s hard to believe you are not sitting in an elegant restaurant in Melbourne City. The decor is next level and yet again, so is the food! Keep in mind it’s a Thursday evening and the place is alive and bustling. Take away orders are being pumped out and efficient staff are up and down the busy restaurant ensuring a wait time is moderately low. The quality of food is exceptional and it’s no hidden secret to locals and visitors, this is the Japanese gem of Swan Hill. Check out the new fit out, it pairs beautifully with the sensational food.
Absolutely awesome. What a find in a small town. Great From start to finish; service and food.
The food is very good here. Plenty to choose from and we normally have a few different entrees to sample and share before the mains. I don’t eat sushi etc but the mussels are great, the soft shell crab, octopus balls, spring rolls, spicy skewers etc etc are all very nice. A lot of the main meals are similar tasting and a bit on the sweet side but the wife loves it. The owners are great people also.
stayed in swan hill for a work trip, was a Wednesday night so most restaurants were quiet but the ambiance and atmosphere at Niko Niko was vibey and busting and we can see why! Absolutely lovely service and food to match. A nice fusion of Japanese and Korean. Had a spicy sauce stir fry and it did not disappoint! Flavours were spectacular , portion sizes generous and service was top notch. A must eat location in Swan Hill !
Really pleased with my visit here. I turned up late, and they still had a table for me.nThey didn't rush me, although I was the last one in the restaurant, finishing my food.nGood selection of dishes, and some that I have not seen before.nI thought the quality and taste were good and the meals were very well priced, especially for the type of dishes that were on offer.nI had the agedashi tofu $9 only one other place in Adelaide that is this good nHalf dozen oysters $17nSashimi bibimbap $22 must be a korean Japanese fusion, I haven't seen this before. It was really delicious. A generous serving of meat in the dish AND to my surprise, the waitress mixes the meal at my table for me.nI wish I had taken a video.nReally lovely service and surprisingly good Japanese, especially for a small country town.nThank you
