I ordered the orange and plum pork belly with noodles. I love pork belly but this was the best I have ever eaten. Just melt in your mouth pork and great flavours. Amazing. Not sure if I can order it now anywhere else .My husband had lamb souvlaki. Also delicious and tender.
I wanted this to be a winner just from the newly renovated exterior…..and it delivered! It was a busy Saturday lunch, surprisingly the service was extremely efficient. The menu offered the usual ‘pub grub’ with a few interesting specials. The pork belly bites come highly recommended and the burger packed a hefty punch for freshness and size. A big group arrived midway my lunch and I saw the size of their battered flathead, wow they were massive! The staff were young, bright and attentive and on leaving I asked about the history and the reno’s which she answered confidently. The open kitchen is always a good sign of quality and cleanliness and they all looked like a well oiled machine back there. Well done Commercial, It’s easy to see why you are busy.
What a great experience. Jason was helpful friendly and we enjoyed everything this place had to offer. We ordered 2 entrees 2 mains and a children’s chicken schnitzel for or dogs that were also welcomed, thinking we could take home the leftovers. Regrettably there was nothing left. The Beef Rib and Thia Beef Salad were sensational
Lovely place, good atmosphere, updated facilities, great food, reasonable food and drink prices. Accomodating - Catered for allergy kid. Very friendly staff. We came back for a second night while on our short stay here in Swan Hill.
The Commercial Hotel just provided us with the most delicious meal we’ve had in a long time! The char-grilled steak was heavenly, cooked perfectly to my partner’s liking, and the chicken schnitzel was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were wonderful—friendly, attentive, and efficient—and our meals arrived quickly. The hotel itself boasts modern facilities, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for excellent food and great service!
