Story

Gladstone Region Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Service Ltd T/A Nhulundu Health Service has a charter to provide an integrated, comprehensive primary care health service to the whole Gladstone Community from birth through to old age.
The Aboriginal Community Controlled Health organisation is continually growing and expanding in response to the needs of the community and aims to provide the best possible whole of community care to both Indigenous and non Indigenous clients.
Nhulundu Health Service is located at 27-29 Goodoon Street, Gladstone QLD 4680 and operates a medical centre, aged care and community support programs.
Operating hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community members, and the community as a whole, have the right to access equitable and high quality health care, regardless of culture, ethnicity or where they live. An equitable health system is one that is culturally competent and recognises people’s conncection to country and cultural wellbeing as an essential element to achieving a state of wellness. Empowering and valuing clients and communities in health care is the cornerstone of Community Controlled Primary Health Care. Passion to make a difference is the foundation of Community Controlled Primary Health Care.
