Just realized that trying to be honest to the customs is a bad thing to me (spent hours with them before we could leave the airport); and to them (as they think it’s an extra workload for them). Also while they were searching our luggages, we saw some visitors consuming their food which were not allowed to bring into New Zealand. Then when we had brought some honey and told them we did, the lady said no we couldn’t consume them on the scene. Told them they were tooooo grrrreat honey that we wanted to save them for the last. She insisted and took them away immediately. No offence but I bet she wasn’t going to dump them. What she did with them I have no idea of course. Just dun tell me the honey wasn’t eaten I’ll never believe it. It sounds funny as it’s about the honey but the honey was the best we ever had and it was very difficult for us to get them again.
