Dr Alex Andrew’s is a fantastic doctor. Has been our family doctor for a while. Very thorough and compassionate. He is an asset to NBHC. The receptionist with the dark hair and fringe is always super lovely!!

I had been coming to this practice since I was 11, now 36 over recent years this place has changed, you used to be able to get appointments fairly easy, now I can barely get one, the doctors I've had were great, but I kind of feel like it's become uber for medical professionals, I understand that we have a shortage and the doctors themselves are doing the best they can, but I feel like your rushed out. I really hope things improve but I'll probably take my family elsewhere.

Sitting in the waiting room as a support person for a friend and overheard the Receptionists being rude. the tone used on calls is unacceptable and they were gossiping about other staff members. It may pay to let them know people in the waiting room can hear them and have their own issues and don't care about their work politics

If you have a injury and are in chronic pain bad luck for you, the doctor will give you a medical certificate for a while, and if what he offers to fix your pain doesn't work then his next step will be to try and force you back into some kind of work, seemingly forgetting about your chronic pain issue, you can clearly see there's an agenda, their primary agenda is to get people back into work, not to help you fix whatever is wrong with you, then you're left with no option but to try and cure your pain yourself, while they just try and force you into a job that you know you won't be able to do, wasting everyones time in the process, the medical system in this country is broken.

I am so tired of seeing the way this place treats patients. People are leaving this medical centre crying, frustrated, elderly are treated like they don't matter by reception. When sitting in the waiting room you hear constant belittling from receptionists to the customers, arguing and yelling at people who come here because they need HELP. This place is the absolute pits. The HDC needs to audit and investigate this place and some SERIOUS changes need to be made ASAP, people are dying, and many would rather not get help then come to this awful place as many patients are embarrassed and bullied by the staff here, everyone hears it.

Don't know why people give negative feedback. All my years going there fantastic service from polite receptionist/fantastic nurses and great doctors .Hate to think how many phone calls a day they get and do a great job . Phoned this morning,quick connection and appointment made same day keep up the great work and thanks

Best doctor in chch but you have to book in advance or expect long waiting time, which is fair enough

The doctors are top notch but the cold and patronizing attitude of a receptionist there is daunting when you are already feeling below par. I seeI am not alone in this belief. It has got to the point now where I am looking at other options, especially since my lovely Dr there, has now left to take up a post overseas.

I just recently found out that I'm pregnant and have been having a bit of bleeding that has made me really worried of why that is happening. The reception has told me that my doctor isn't available this week and that a nurse will ring me. When the nurse rung all she had to say was that the only option is to go to the 24 hours as it's free charge. I have been at this doctors since i was a kid and I have never been disappointed in these nurses and the they're lack of effort. I say if u show no care and interest towards your clients, dont work there at all.

My daughter's doctor is OK however the reception attendants are terrible rude. Also REALLY hard to simple make an appointment. Poor Medical Centre for sure.
