WHAT HAPPENED NENE!?! Went to satisfy that snowing vegetable coated Korean fried chicken craving and was left rather disappointed! Don't think we will be back soon unless I feel like I want to get an order of gastro-to-go! Food came out pretty much right after we had ordered and sat down, noticed this for some orders after us too. The chicken was pretty much cold, not even warm which was rather concerning. It also had an off smell and taste to it which left us hungrier than when we came in... We ordered the 8 piece chicken; 2 were wings, 4 were boneless pieces of mainly shriveled up batter... and the other two were dark meat pieces that so old that we pretty sure werent safe to be dished up!
I love fried chicken. Ever since I discovered that Koreans also love fried chicken I've gone out of my way to try as many different Korean fried chicken restaurants as possible. This has not been beneficial for my wallet or my waistline! Nene chicken ranks at the top of my list so far. I've been here several times and have been thoroughly thrilled every time. Ordinarily I'd be a little upset at the price, but honestly, it's that good I just don't care. If you want a delicious addiction, this is the place to go.

I have had a great experience at Nene Chicken restaurant in Australia. The chicken is some of the best I have had at a chain restaurant, and I highly recommend trying the 'snowy cheese' and 'swicy chicken' options. The only downside is the waiting time, which can sometimes be a bit long. However, the prices are a bit higher compared to other chicken chains like KFC, but in my opinion, the extra cost is worth it for the high quality of the food. Overall, Nene Chicken is one of my go-to places for delicious chicken and I highly recommend giving it a try.
They do the promotion $1 chicken for today, went there at 5pm got told that all the $1 is gone, BUT! the original price chicken is still available! That's a joke, if you can't afford a promotion just don't do it. Went on to their FB Page, lots of other people complain, and they explained that all the $1 chicken run out within one hour, come on....How many chicken you can cook within one hour even with your fried wok at maximum capacity???? Don't treat your customers as dumb, it's hard to build a brand but a lot easier to destroy it, something like this will definitely harm your brand a lot more than the little money you saved today

Just had the Cheese and Bulgogi chicken for dinner. Yeay.. the chicken is tender and not salty as the seasoning just nice. Love the Bulgogi, YUMMY Surely will eat again.
Don’t get me wrong food was great but the customer service is poor. Other customers who came after us got their food within 5 mins while us waited for almost 15 mins. Since we were in a hurry we had to take the rest of the food away
Tasty and spicy Korean Fried Chicken. But their service is super slow, expect to wait around 20 mins to get your order.
It was overpriced considering the small portions and quality. The tables were dirty and when I asked for a wet wipe to clean it the guy wanted to charge me. Why am I being charged for cleaning their tables. Absolutely disgusting.
