I bought a dining room table and chairs for $650 and took possession of them on the 15th of December. I paid $150 Ute hire to keep them safe. It is now the 8th of Jan and all the chairs are falling apart. I expect when ANY business sells a piece of furniture for that price they know it’s faults and I put trust in them. Seems they think they are immune from all the other consumer laws that govern retail. The attitude of the manager was dismal and he didn’t want to return a cent of my money and told me to go see a woodworker. I tried to explain that they were beyond repair. He’s main focus was to completely fob me off. I have waited a couple of days and not even have they offered a small in store credit. I’ve had someone look over the piece who has told me there is so much old glue and breakages that it will never be fixable. His words were it was on its last legs and is so bad that it looks like it got to he point where they just wedged the pieces back in so it looked good.... Suppose to be for the needy... I’ve just been through cancer and family breakdown and now I’m $800 out of pocket and I’ll give it another month before these chairs completely disintegrate and I am sitting on the floor. Wasn’t going to post a complaint but the management just treated me like he wanted me to go away.

Good variety of goods but some secondhand goods are way to expensive. Good service.

Huge store full of affordable stuff. Staff are volunteers so be nice to them.
