Horrible service. $500 storage fee for not taking delivery between 2nd - 8th of Jan. 

We are a very small disability equipment company and wheelchair wheels shipped to Australia.

The shipment by Navia was delayed and thus arrived in during the one week a year we are closed over Christmas and New Years. 

Navia did not mention that there would be a $500 storage fee and if we were to know then we would of opened up one day to take delivery.

Horrible service do not ever use this shipping company.

After my initial review I got a call from the management of the company to tell me that I did not provide correct information for 5 days after the vessel has landed. I was told at 4pm on Monday that I had to pick up the goods by 3pm the next day or be liable for storage. my driver arrived late at 3:05pm but the crew (which I appreciate!) at the warehouse agreed to load the van. They got the package out but did not load it as said it was too long 375cm. However the van measurement is 380cm. Now I am liable even though they refused to load the van. In addition, I am being told that 23 hours to arrange pick up was "ample" time (quoted to reflect conversation exactly). I disagree. I suggested that the staff at Navia could have said that when the inspection was booked for Monday they COULD have said you will have less than a day to pick it up. The following is what I was told: "So we are waiting for them to complete their inspection, once complete I will let you know the outcome and collection date."
Update on review: Picked up the goods today which fit (no surprise) so no issues there. Was not charged overnight storage which I assume was at the request of Navia. Experience was turned around.

Friendly crew who gave it 110% when I was in a pickle as a novice needing help with a shipment. Highly recommended
