The historic Homestead was built in 1925 and is situated on nine acres of exquisite lawn and gardens. It has been kept in its original state and is a unique setting for all types of functions and occasions.

The gardens and bush areas are an excellent outdoor venue for activities such as team building, group activities and a relaxing morning or afternoon tea on the lawn.

Our walled garden and croquet lawn provide a perfect setting for outdoor weddings, with the immaculately kept gardens providing a beautiful backdrop for that special photo shoot.

Art Classes
Nathan Homestead has a busy calendar of arts classes and workshops for adults and children (primary and secondary age) throughout the year. Classes are held during the daytime and early evening.

Performing Arts Classes
Performing arts gives children and teens the opportunity to have fun while gaining a sense of achievement. There are no auditions required, only enthusiasm and lots of energy.

Art Exhibitions
Monthly exhibitions by local, national and international artists are held throughout the year. A small display of local crafts and artworks can be found for sale in the main foyer.
