Is this place under new management? Because the service has dropped considerably. We dined in last night with friends. It wasn't that busy in store but there were a lot of take away orders it seems. Anyways some of us ordered through the app. Another one of our party who came after us ordered at the counter and received his food first. After waiting patiently for 10 minutes after he got his food I went to the counter and inquired about the rest of our meals. I saw them sitting on the counter while the employee was busy packing take away meals, the chips were cold at this point. Her excuse was that people who order through the app never put the right table down. Even though on the docket was 65 and we were sitting at table 65. She didn't even bother to go around an incredibly small restaurant of only 10 tables to look. Just pack take away Really bad service letting dine in meals go cold while packing take away orders. I used to be in hospitality and our priority always used to be dine in patrons first and then take away meals. Won't be back to this Nando's. Why did the Lilydale Nando's go and not this one?
Terrible service. Booked a 7.45 pick up slot. Turned up on time. Had to wait 40 minutes. I was told my food would be another 10 minutes, 5 mins, 5 mins ect ect. Two front of house staff had no idea what was going on or what they were doing. They spent most of the time with their backs to customers ignoring them. One spent their whole time putting staples into the top of food bags for some strange reason. I was asking for a refund, which they were not being helpful with, when emy food finally turned up. Then they almost forgot the drinks. They were not even that busy. Very shoddy service.
Best cooked Nando's ever! This has recently become my weekly ritual in the area. By far the most well cooked I've ever had. Cooked longer on a lower temperature I assume, as the chicken is juicy, while the skin is crunchy, not soggy like other stores. Great service and even better chicken!
Rude owner , yells in foreign language , I'm sure he talks bad about the customers. Ordered a meal and they re-served the left over chips from previous table which got cleaned front of us. the chips were cold and the rest of the food is warm . Got Scared to ask , so left the place quiet leaving the meal . Better choice than eating leftovers ..
Always usually- 5/5 star Excellent!!! However, 1/5 star on 22/09 - I'm not changing my star because the owner is awesome! But I just tried the new place, chicken is HALAL with a big sign in the window. That was disappointing. The chicken is not good quality nor is halal appropriate for the area.
CONSISTENTLY BAD SERVICE. I really hate to say something like this but 3/3 times I've ordered from this restaurant in the last month, I'm told "it will be ready in 10-15mins". At the same time as my partner orders grill`d, then we sit in the car for half an hour even up to 45 mins waiting for Nando's while grilled comes out bang on time every single time. The only reason anyone bothers ordering online or by phone or anything like that is in the hopes it will be ready when we get there to pick it up. I gave you guys so many chances to get it right. Won't be returning here. Its actually a pathetic effort.
Absolutely amazing the staff are very friendly and awesome food
Appalling service. 50min wait upon arrival for an order scheduled for pickup in 10mins. Staff ignored customers, all cramped inside the store, clearly over density limits set. Ended up leaving without food, will NEVER RETURN. The Lilydale franchise closed but clearly the wrong store shuttered.
Love love love this place. The owner and staff are kind, generous and fun. My son cant get enough of their chicken wraps. Highly recommend before a movie.
Appalling wait times for takeaway. Last time I went for takeaway, I received the order and got home to discover that they gave me the wrong order. I couldn't eat that order and was offered 1/2 price for the next time I came into the store. I will not be taking up that offer, or ever going back to that particular store, unless I find out it is under new management.
