Love it, Will return again. Food and staff are top quality, but jesus, turn the music down, if I cannot have a normal talking volume conversation across the table then you got some issues. Edit; Came back on the 9/12/2017.. Got served a class of room temperature orange juice. For that alone you have lost a star and it is now 3.
Very busy on a Friday night book a booth a few days in advance! Everyone enjoyed their burgers, ribs and steaks. Friendly staff and nice setup. Head down on a Tuesday to take on the 1kilo steak challenge for half price fiddy bucks!
Great place for good Americans ribs. Delicious with variety of sauces. Good ambience and good place for the family.
Group of 10+ for lunch today. Huge and pretty tasty meals : friendly service.
Cool Place, food was ok staffs are very friendly
Meal was average but the portion was huge. We had to change our drink order about 3 times because they had run out of the spirits needed to make them but what we ended up with was nice. Overall a pleasant night with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Had dinner here for the first time the other night, and I went in with skepticism as most Americana restaurants let me down. I left blown away with how perfect everything was...food, service, atmosphere, you name it. You know it's the real deal when they have actual buffalo wing sauce on each table!!! Fantastic. I will be a regular. Happy Texan, living in Australia for 13 years, finally found a genuine American diner.
Lovely food, but so uncomfortable hot and NO air conditioning made it a very sweaty experience. Seeing the waitresses with wet hair From sweating and having to wipe their foreheads with the back of their hands while taking orders is just not good enough. A same because service and food where great. Good place for a cold day.
Yeah, pretty mediocre. Service was very quick, but the food was pretty terrible. As someone who has been all over the US, this food does not compare. I ordered a Kansas City hot dog, which was certainly overdone with toppings that turned the whole dog to a wet mess by the time it was served to me. It could not be picked up by hand, so I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The pulled pork on top of the dog did not have the texture or flavour of something that had been smoked or cooked on a grill. Perhaps the sous vide the meats, or it's precooked and then quickly microwaved? The chips were decent though. I also got a cocktail, an Alabama Slammer, it was okay, but was a little weak. My girlfriend's meal was the real shocker though. She ordered the Pork and Squawk. The ribs were quite small, and again, didn't have the flavour or texture of something that had been cooked on a grill or smoker. Very soft, quite bland, and a bit rubbery. The wings were really terrible though. Zero seasoning, and very gamy. They were left uneaten, as well as their packet coleslaw. They provided 2 dipping sauces, but both were obviously from the bottle. No love or extra seasoning to make the sauce pop. Bit of a disappointment. Despite the mixed reviews, there was a lot of hype about this place. It seems the menu is very hit and miss. Some people seem to love the burgers. If you are going to visit for your first time, perhaps play it safe, avoid the dogs and go straight for a burger. I might give them another shot. They have a nice ambience and atmosphere, and your can tell the staff are motivated and offer excellent service.
Sometimes good, sometimes not so much. The hot sauce for the buffalo wings is great, along with Coors on tap, that's what makes me a return customer. Price is a bit high for food that has a 50/50 chance of being worth it. Happy hour is a winner, serving sizes a very good and there's plenty to choose from.
