This is one of my favorite restaurants in Auckland. Everything is just perfect. Food is very tasty and has the traditional Thai touch to it. Atmosphere is nice and welcoming. Even though the place can get crowded, it is quite spacious. Staff is friendly. I have eaten from here about 4 or 5 times now and certainly will return.Food: 5/5
Nice an cute ambiance. Food taste good but i was a bit disappointed with my crispy pork pad thai. The crispy pork is not crispy at all. Staff was not attentive when we ate there. I needed to find them at the kitchen to tell them that we are ready to order.
Such a good spot! Affordable and delicious. We started with the Thai iced teas, spring rolls, and silken tofu. All great, especially the silken tofu! I got the crab fried rice, would have been a little bland without the sauce but with the sauce it was great! My husband got the Thai fried rice and liked his as well. Great atmosphere and friendly staff in the CBD!
Nom-Nahm! Wow this may be our favorite Thai/Asian fusion restaurant we have ever eaten at. We wondered where we were going as we headed down the steps into the basement space but as we entered, it was modern, casual, very clean, industrial vibes, fresh air blowing from fans, lots of space between many tables, and beautiful ceiling string lights with soft background music. The menu is HUGE, descriptive, and one of the best and most pleasant to browse we have seen. All tables have little glasses and free carafes of water. Service was friendly and very fast, and they were very helpful with answering questions and suggestions. Most importantly, when the food arrived quickly, it was beautiful, very generous portions, and DELISH. They are your favorite Thai flavors but improved and better. Seriously, everyone should be eating here, don't miss it!!
The noodle was nice but a little bit oily. My papaya salad was sweet and it didn't taste like Thai Esan food. The pork cracker was a bit small of oil maybe it was kept too long and it so became a bit hard to bit some pieces and some parts of them.
Had done a bit of shopping and had worked up an appetite & wanted something tasty but at 3.30 pretty tricky everything not serving until 5pm. Stumbled on this place - highly recommend it! Haven’t had such good Thai for ages.
In town for the Van Pimpenstein show. I had three excellent meals at Nahm: Red Curry, Pad Thai, and another dish I can't remember, because a George Michael song came on the radio and I was carried away to my childhood back on the farm in Kentucky. You gotta have Faith.
What we ordered: - Boat noodle soup $16.50 - Golden noodles w seafood mix $19.50 - Thai milk tea $6 - Mango juice $5 This restaurant is so cozy and such a nice hidden gem. They have super generous portions, affordable prices and the food was so so good. I had the boat noodle soup which has really crunchy pork crackling and a super flavourful sweet broth. The golden noodles with seafood was also really good and they were super generous with all of the different types of seafood. For drinks we tried the mango juice and the Thai milk tea which was so good and had a kind of similar taste to bubble tea.
Absolutely divine!!! This tucked away restaurant serves up an amazing range of Thai/Southest Asian food with great service. Menu is mostly Thai with a few other Southest Asian signatures, heaps of GF and Veg options too. The salad with sticky rice yumzap was the highlight of our meal! The sauce was salty, spicy, tangy and was well-absorbed into the salmon that melted in my mouth. The crunchy red onions were a perfect touch to this flavourful dish. The noodles soup was another bomb of flavours. The broth was exactly how a Thai noodles soup should be. Cool vibe. Very friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend!
My go to place for lunch and sometimes dinner. Sumply love them without a doubt. Very thai street flavour, they even got the famous thai boat noodles, absolutely yummy. Very busy venue but still staffs are wearing smile all the time. Love love love
