Real gem. Ordered a dish with 2 meat curries and vegetable curries. Food tasted good. Loved the experience of tasting different types of vegetable curry; beetroot, breadfruit and cashew. The older gentlemen there was quite help, explaining the curries available. Ordered some snacks as well. Their fish bun, chicken and lamb roti was really delicious and filling too. The roti and buns were a decent price too. Around $5 each. Will definitely be coming back.
One of my few times that I have eaten Sri-Lankan food. The food here was pretty ok. The place feels like going to a old friends house and has that homey feeling.nnThe Briyani was really tasty, String hopper pilau was pretty good as well, so was the garlic naan. Also ordered the Mango Lassi and their Falooda beverages which reminds me of a pink rose drink which is pretty nnWhat knocked down the points was how long the food took to come out. The place only has 3 tables full but the food took about 40mins to come out. Also the beef curry and the chicken curry was microwaved. I do understand that it can be pre-made before but don’t microwave it in front of the guests and serve it lukewarm. With the middle still being cold. Also the meat dishes was still a bit bland and the beef curry sauce was pretty watery.nnNext time I will stick to the briyani as they make it pretty good here
The flavors of their Ceylon cuisine are unparalleled, leaving every guest raving about the delicious food. The presentation was elegant, and the staff were incredibly attentive and professional. Highly recommend Nagi’s for any event needing top-notch catering service. Five stars all the way!
Me and my boyfriend were on the hunt for an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant so we tried Nagi’s. We are so happy we did! The food is amazing and super tasty. We ordered the Chicken Cheese Kottu and Nasi Goreng - both meals were delicious, home made and amazing value. We were so impressed and the owner is so kind and lovely. Can’t wait to already return for the Hopper Night Buffet!
